26 years - how do you turn around and 26 years go by? Love you to the moon and back. by @catmellott

Happy first day of 14th grade, Sweet Girl. Dad and I are so proud of you and the powerful, accomplished woman you are becoming. Love you so much, @kylie.mellott 💞 by @catmellott

Costumes that fit, that move and that are comfortable so your dancers can focus on choreography, not how soon they can escape an itchy costume! This Musical Theater set of costumes was challenging, detailed and very fun to create for @movement_house_dance (formerly known as Michelle Latimer Dance Academy) for @jwebbdance’s senior Musical Theater piece last season. by @catmellott

This red crushed velvet stretch bell tutu caught the judges eyes and really stood out on stage. @yagp interviewed my daughter about it and shared it on their page when she wore it a few years ago.

It’s tutu Sunday 😂🫣😉 Made this bouquet of flowers tutu for my daughter for her last variation. Didn’t know it would be her last at the time. Looking back at those lasts is something.

Made it to the soft opening of @noquarterjiujitsu. My heart is so happy to see my son and his beautiful fiancée living out this dream. So proud!! by @catmellott

This was the first contemporary dance costume I made. It’s still one of my favorites with all the draping and chiffon. I have learned a lot in the years since then and still need to pinch myself that I get to do this work. #danceislife #dancecostume #costumedesigner by @catmellott

Last year was hard. I lost my dad. It helped that I kept busy after his loss by making over 100 costumes last season. However, I neglected to get photos of all of them. Send me your favorite photos of you in a costume I made in any season. I’d love to share them.
