I’m still shell shocked but absolutely thrilled that Duke has raised a phenomenal £26000 for @maggiescentres I need to thank the amazing organisers, especially Hayley, Laura and Lauren for trusting me with this icon 😂
And for making it a phenomenal trail and raising so much awareness of what Maggies centres do - as well as the fantastic sum of money raised!

Shout out to All the other artists. Love our community 🧡

And I hope Duke is very happy in his new home!

He’s the most voted-for Scottie on our app, meet ‘Duke’ by @catoverthemoon.

Generously sponsored by Westpoint Homes, Duke sits outside the Gallery of Modern Art and wears an iconic traffic cone hat - which has now become universally synonymous with Scotland!

Discover the trail and learn more about the artists behind each Scottie sculpture by downloading our free app, just search ‘Scotties in the City’ in your app store. Or, pick up a physical copy from Born In Scotland at Buchanan Galleries, for a suggested £2 donation to @maggiescentres

I’m so pleased to be joining another amazing Wild in Art charity fundraising trail. Scotties in the City will run from June 18th to August 16th bringing joy to the streets of Glasgow while raising vital funds for Maggie’s.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the first Maggie’s centre opening in Scotland.
There are now eight, including one at Gartnaval hospital, which all provide free practical, psychological and financial support to people facing cancer.
