A few more Scottie dogs from the weekend:

1. Ground Control to Major Canis. I love this one cos of the Space Doggies and the tennis ball butt 🤭

2. Glasgow Salad. I loved this one too cos it has chips on it.

3. Nature Reclaims. Lots of pretty wildlife

There is currently a Scottie In The City Trail in Glasgow. A number of painted Scottie Dogs, dotted across the City.

Decided to do a circular walk around the City Centre (6.3 miles) capturing 13 Scotties, and a few murals along the way.

The trail was created by @wildinart for the fantastic Maggie’s Charity. @maggiesscottiestrail

You might have noticed Scottie dogs popping up all over the city recently, and it’s all for a great cause.
..
The Scottie’s in the City art trail has officially launched, bringing dozens of colourful Scottie sculptures to Glasgow for the next 8 weeks transforming the city into an open-air gallery in support of Maggie’s cancer charity.
..
Each one has been uniquely designed by talented artists, sponsored by local businesses and can be found at attractions, parks and public spaces across the city. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the Wee Scotties too, created by local schools and community groups.
..
Once the trail comes to an end, the Wee Scotties will be returned to their creators, while the larger sculptures will be auctioned off to raise vital funds for Maggie’s cancer centres across Scotland.
..
Download the app, pick up a map and see how many you can spot! The trail is on until the 16th of August! 🐶 If you’ve seen them out and about which one has been your favourite so far? Also please tag any artists work if we’ve missed them! 🐾
