hello cattails comix followers —

i’m starting to experiment with a different style, one that allows for my creativity to communicate more clearly how I see the world around us speaking to us.

this piece is about the ways I see nature be in collaboration with gaps, of each being doing what they can do, without overstretching, or taking on the roles that are meant for other beings. This embodiment of their uniqueness makes space for a diversity of gifts and contributions in flow with a dynamic dance that makes space for beauty to naturally emerge. by @cattailscomix

There becomes a time when what has felt secure and safe hinges on us suppressing our growth.

The clinging onto external resources that give us a sense of confidence in our well being, becoming a crutch that diminishes our self trust.

When we have the courage to look out, to recognize what we might have been using to determine our sense of being protected is coming at a cost of a fuller palette of fulfilling love in our lives, we might leap into the unknown to be caught, by something new, or perhaps even the ability within ourselves to show up for our own hearts.

Happy Tuesday dear ones,

apologies for the gap in comics. I have been working on printing prints, and am hoping to have an etsy store up soon to transition my paid offerings from patreon to more concrete offerings of prints, cards, and altar tables.

Yang Fire Horse

We welcome you into the energy of the Yang Fire Horse. The directive workmanship of the horse aligning with its native element, Yang Fire, inspires a wildfire of expressive intuitive strength. A generosity as large as the sun, a force as piercing as an arrow, this gallop towards greatness spirals into the very center of our heart. It is a time of great ascent, great vulnerability, and exuberance laid out for the gods.

These cards are offered to you on The Gift. Inspired by the generosity of the Yang Fire Horse these cards are a gift to you, to your friends, family, kin, known and unknown. DM me if you’d like 3 of these cards within a week of this posting with your address and I’ll send you them, and if you feel called to offer a gift to the artist, some forms that she receives are: following her work at cattailscomix.com, on instagram at @cattailscomix, AND/OR Venmo at kai-tzeng.

If Kai receives 200 donations of $4 each, she will cover all her costs and receive an amount that honors her time and energy of creation.

Thank you! by @cattailscomix
