🐍 Honor the Snake / Honor the Shed 🔥 Gotta be honest, it really pissed me off when people started talking about the Horse before we even started the Gregorian new year We’re still in the belly of the snake shed, and folks are already like gallop gallop yang yang yang, and I’m over here like: wtf???? IT’S WINTER YA’LL!! And the Snake is not done fcking with us yet! 👀👀don’t piss her off!!! Yes, I get the urge to rush into goals, visioning, and momentum. But there’s still so much to shed, grieve, and integrate from this past year. If we move too fast—especially heading into a double Fire Horse year—we will burn out. Snake has done real work on us this year: killing ego, stripping illusions, dismantling false urgency. Don’t busy yourself just to keep up with capitalism when your body is catching up with mind and spirit needs time to remember your why. So this is me shedding my personal irritation - by making a public invitation. I’m hosting an in-person ritual gathering on the night we cross from Yin Wood Snake → Yang Fire Horse to:
• give Snake her proper goodbye
• witness the final shed
• align what we’re carrying forward
• make space so Horse medicine can arrive clean 🌱 立春Li Chun (Feb 4) marks the astrological new year + the arrival of Yang Fire Horse (Not to be confused with Lunar New Year on Feb 17) 🐍🐎 Honor the Snake / Honor the Shed
