2023 Spring Media Day.
3.16.23

I am so grateful that I got an opportunity to have a station and execute my idea at the @trailblazers 2023 spring media day. This idea was inspired by the great @garyland . “Our Story is still Unfolding” is our team slogan for this year. My goal was to have the projector hitting my subject and not spilling onto the background. This took a lot of trial and error with lighting and multiple test subjects until we finally got it right. This experience was exciting, but unpredictable. I spent a couple months preparing for this day not knowing if my idea would work out, but with the help of @bruceely and @mason.arts we got the job done!

Special shoutout to @bruceely for this opportunity
@mason.arts for the graphic that we projected on subjects

Sam and CT for help with projector

Kylan and Taylor for being great test subjects.

The first ever Frame Your Legacy Exhibition was a success! 9-20-26 is a day that will go down in history.

I am so thankful for my family and friends who popped out for me.

Frame Your Legacy started as a slogan and turned into a dream to have my work in people’s homes, and now umbrella for events, films, books, and more.

Frame Your Legacy was an example of doing it yourself. I applied to jobs, exhibitions, grants, and workshops to with the hope of fufilling a dream to finally be appreciated and validated for what I do. When that fell through, Frame Your Legacy became a platform to share my skills in my own way that evoked my visual voice, brought community together, and created a physical place for others to experience art and meet new artist.

Until next time! taken in Seven House Gallery by @caughtbykent
