Presidential Traverse (named in 1840 after 7 U.S presidents) : 7 peaks in the White Mountains including Mt. Washington known for having the most dangerous weather in NA! Typical hikers take 2-3 days to do the whole thing. The Cassius @cballantine and I did it in about 14h with some good weather at the beginning and then torrential downpour the second half. Beautiful scenery , technical in some parts and burly. Great training for @raidinfrance in 7 weeks and we are feeling good! Make sure to give us a follow @electricmayhemar this will be our team for the World Championships.

Normalmente toma 2–3 días. @cballantine y yo lo completamos en unas 14 horas empujando un chance: buen clima al inicio y un aguacero torrencial en la segunda mitad.

The Cassius, and the Pain Parking Lot.
This year’s The Longest Day 24-Hour Adventure Race was a little different.
We went into race week with big plans…and then Tuesday happened. A nasty bug and a 103°F fever had me wondering if I should even be at the start line.
The original goal was to PUSH. Instead, I came up with a new strategy: Just survive the first six hours.
If I felt okay, I’d push a little more the next six. Then reassess. Rinse and repeat.
Not gonna lie…everything hurt. Legs hurt. Back hurt. Brain hurt. I probably even had muscles hurting that I didn’t know existed.
So every time my body complained, I mentally walked over, put that pain in the Pain Parking Lot, and got back to racing.
Cassius …what a teammate. He never once complained about my “warm-up pace” that lasted A bit 😂, kept me laughing when I was feeling miserable, and as always made great nav decisions when it mattered (except for that one lol). That’s why Team Electric Mayhem works, we don’t always have the fastest legs, but we usually have the most fun.
By racing smart , we almost cleared the course (short by 2 CPs) and finished 4th in an absolutely STACKED 2-person men’s field. We’ll definitely take that.
Huge congrats to the winners…you guys were on another planet. And congrats to everyone who took on this beautiful and demanding course.
And to our friends—who are basically family now @strongmachinear so cool spending so much time with you!. @nyaragram what a place. The venue, the course, the volunteers, the field reporters, every detail was first class. If adventure races could earn Michelin stars, this one gets them all. Thanks coach @martinsaenz79 @betendurance for getting us ready!

4 unforgettable days in the Canadian Rockies!

From breathtaking mountains and a gnarly canyoning section to “lazy rivers “and countless laughs (looking at you @rootstockracing )every mile reminded us that adventure is about so much more than racing!

We were blessed to finish 4th in the Coed division behind three incredible world-class teams @bendracing @expedition_canada @adventure_immersion_lab but the biggest victory was watching Clayton and his team become the first adaptive team to complete an adventure race. What an incredible picture of courage, perseverance, and the belief that with God all things are possible!

A huge thank you to Adventure Immersion Lab @adventure_immersion_lab the amazing volunteers and of course my Electric Mayhem Team @cballantine @gnarlygirlfitness & @jadeeagles for pushing through and ALL THE PANUKI!!!

Canada, you’ve won our hearts. Corsica … here we go!

Grateful to God for His protection, for every mountain climbed, every challenge overcome, and for the privilege of sharing this journey together.
