JATA @ TIFF 2026!!! 🎬

What better way to celebrate TIFF weekend than surrounded by fabulous women, great conversation and some serious Firecracker energy?!

Jana Abrams was thrilled to attend the SOLD OUT 8th Annual Firecracker Department TIFF Brunch yesterday with four wonderful members of Team JATA — CLAIRE ACOTT, CHRISTEL BARTELSE, MARIANA MILANO FRANCO and CASSANDRA SIROIS!

Hosted by Firecracker Department founder Naomi Snieckus, the annual TIFF Brunch has grown from a small backyard gathering into one of our favourite festival traditions - bringing together hundreds of artists to talk film, television, writing, directing, producing and performing while making genuine industry connections.

And THAT is what TIFF is all about for us. Celebrating the work. Meeting new collaborators. Reconnecting with old friends. Supporting one another. And making sure Team JATA is out there representing!

So much talent at one table and so much more ahead for our four fabulous ladies!

Thank you @firecrackerdept and Naomi Snieckus for another fantastic TIFF Brunch!

The city is buzzing, our industry is connecting and TIFF 2026 is ON!!!

GO TEAM JATA!!! 💜
