Officially entering retirement.
To say that I am beyond grateful for everything this sport has given to me in these past 9 years would be an understatement. From the people, to the injuries, and everything in-between, everything had a purpose and I am beyond grateful for every high and low.

5x All-American ✅
11x All Big-12 (2 runner-up finishes) ✅
7x Top 10 time in Iowa State history ✅

I accomplished everything I could’ve hoped for and am leaving with no regrets. I am beyond excited for the next chapter in my life and can’t thank everyone that I’ve met along the way.

You all are the reason I am alive.
When I walked into Hayward Field for the first time on Monday, I started to cry. I was not crying tears of sadness but tears of joy. For the first time in 22 years I was proud of myself. The adversity and struggles that I have endured and pushed through to reach this point is mind blowing. All I can tell to anyone struggling with mental or physical issues is… please don’t give up. The 2 years of my life prior to this year were absolutely living hell. Once I got back to campus this past year everything was different. The team mindset, the support from teammates and coaches, the general vibe of the team was unmatched. Immediately my mental health skyrocketed. My constant crippling anxiety and panic attacks started to diminish as I received more and more support from my peers. I need to thank absolutely everyone for all the unwavering support. You guys saved my life. You all gave me a reason to be proud of myself.
You all are the reason I’m alive.

NCAA First Rounds start tomorrow…
This is my first time individually qualifying for the NCAA meet and I can’t help but thank the team and coaches for supporting me through all my struggles this entire year.

4/9/22… 1:50.47 ➡️ 4/14/22… 1:46.97.
I finally did it!
After last weeks blow up, I was worried that I didn’t have what it took… everyone just kept telling me to keep my head up and keep pushing forward because my time was coming…
It’s finally my time… 1:46.97 in April for #7 in NCAA Division 1 🇺🇸 and #26 in the WORLD 🌎
