And now a word from our President... THANK YOU!!!! Our first year in Long Beach Gives and we were #20 for most money raised out of 98 nonprofits in our category and #4 for unique donors. Plus we won for New Non Profit. A huge thank you to all those you donated, shared or interacted with our posts. Besides raising money for children, getting the word out about CBL was also a huge goal for us. by @cbllongbeach

What an honor! We are truly grateful for all the support from donors, supporters, members and staff of Long Beach Gives. Thank you Long Beach Gives for your guidance and support as CBL navigated its first year in Long Beach Gives. It was such an amazing opportunity to not only gain visibility for CBL but to connect with other nonprofits doing great work in Long Beach and beyond. Seeing the support our community gave to its' nonprofits was truly inspiring. A huge thank you also to our members who worked tirelessly to get the word out. Community is at the heart of Long Beach Gives. 💙

We were grateful to attend the inaugural Long Beach Gives Mixer, sponsored by F&M Bank, where participating nonprofits came together to connect, share, and celebrate the incredible work happening throughout our community.

We heard inspiring stories from fellow nonprofit organizations, learned more about F&M Bank’s long history of supporting Long Beach, and had the chance to reconnect with a wonderful friend of CBL, Lisa from Pathways to Independence.

It was a meaningful reminder that when nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders come together, the impact reaches far beyond any one organization.

Stronger connections. Shared purpose. Greater impact.

What a day at Long Beach Gives Live!💙🍋 From serving homemade lemonade and meeting the mayor to cheering on fellow nonprofits, and hearing our CBL President share our mission, the day was filled with community, connection and so much heart. Sometimes it’s easy to think a donation has to be large to matter. It doesn’t.

During Long Beach Gives, your support of Children’s Benefit League helps strengthen local organizations providing essential services to children and families throughout our community.

Just a few examples of what different levels of support can help make possible:

💚 $25 can help provide a day-camp experience for a child with a disability.
🦷 $50 can provide an oral hygiene visit and screening for a child.
🩺 $100 can help provide a well-child visit for a child without insurance.
👂 $155 can provide a virtual coaching session for a family of a young child with hearing loss.
💜 $200 can provide an hour of treatment for an uninsured child who has experienced trauma or abuse.
🧠 $1,000 can help provide a month of intensive mental health treatment for a teen.

And the impact continues from there.

CBL hosted its annual Chips Ahoy fundraiser at @long_beach_yacht_club. Great time with members and friends raising money for children of Long Beach while enjoying a delicious lunch (thank you yacht club catering 😋) silent auction, heads or tails and CBL’s version of Quartermania. Thank you to all our supporters who gave of their time and generosity. We broke a CBL record for this event! 💙🥳. See you next September for another amazing afternoon at Chips Ahoy! by @cbllongbeach
