🎉 NEW NONPROFIT ON THE BLOCK! 🎉

A huge congratulations and welcome to Children’s Benefit League!

Not only did they run an AMAZING campaign in their very first year participating in Long Beach Gives, but they SHOWED UP! ❤️

Every training. Every opportunity to learn. Every fun event. They jumped in, connected with our nonprofit community, and truly embraced everything Long Beach Gives is about.

That kind of participation, enthusiasm, and commitment is exactly how we build stronger, more sustainable nonprofits.

Children’s Benefit League, you understood the assignment! We are so excited to officially welcome you to the Long Beach Gives family and can’t wait to see what you do next! 🎉

We had a great time at the annual @longbeachgives Summit and kick-off last week.. the countdown to #LongBeachGives2026 is now officially underway. 📅 Mark your calendars - the 8th annual city-wide day of giving is Thursday, September 24, and early giving begins on Thursday, September 17!

As always, we had a great time learning, sharing and connecting with friends, including the ones featured here: @expfuture, @cbllongbeach, @tgc_lb and @thenonprofitpartnership. 🙌 It’s also appropriate that we’re sharing this today, since it’s National Intern Day, and we invited our interns to join us for this day of learning and connection as well. Both of them shared how this event truly showed them #ThePowerOfCommunity. ❤️

THANK YOU to @cbllongbeach for their incredibly generous gift of $45,000 in support of our mission! ✨

We are honored to be one of the key child-serving organizations supported by the Children's Benefit League Annual Luncheon and grateful for their continued investment in the well-being of children and families in our community. 💚

Because of their kindness, more children and families can access compassionate mental health services, basic needs resources, and the support they need to thrive. Thank you for helping create brighter futures.

We love any chance we get to see the ladies @cbllongbeach throughout the year. 🤗 Typically, it’s at one of the many fundraisers they host, but the end-of-year meeting is always the most special.

This is when we get to applaud them for their hard-work and dedication throughout the year, raising funds to support the Long Beach children who need it most. 👏 We’re so grateful to be one of the five clinics who benefit.. their continued support makes such a difference for the children and families we serve!

A special shout-out to Judy Cornwall - pictured here with Dr. Mackenzie - who has served as Philanthropy Chair for 20 years! 💙 See our stories for a short video of Judy at the end-of-year meeting to hear more about this wonderful group’s efforts over the past 79 years!
