Excited to share this year’s Mosaic Art Fund Grant recipients!
Thanks to generous art philanthropists, MAF increased awards and supported 10 professional artists from a pool of 83 applicants. It was hard. Miami-Dade County has incredible artists and we are grateful for having a robust community of creatives. by @ccathers_art

Thank you to everyone who made our in(ter)vals Trolley Tour such a meaningful and memorable experience for Coral Gables especially for my two little girls who enjoyed taking the trolley to visit different public art pieces hidden throughout the #CityBeautiful.

A special thank you to Catherine Cathers, Ana Pernas, and the incredible trolley team for their coordination and hospitality, as well as to all of the participating artists, galleries, and board members whose talent and support continue to elevate arts and culture in our City Beautiful.

And a sincere thank you to The Plaza Coral Gables for graciously hosting the closing reception.

We are grateful for your partnership and for helping bring art into our public spaces in such an engaging way. #CoralGables #ArtInPublicPlaces #PublicArt #Intervals #TrolleyTour #ArtsAndCulture #CoralGablesArt #SupportTheArts #CommunityEvent taken in Coral Gables, Florida by @ccathers_art

Last Sunday, we proudly unveiled Whispering Through a Stone on Miracle Mile — a striking new public art installation by renowned artist Janine Antoni. 🪨✨

The event began with a special film screening and artist talk at the Coral Gables Art Cinema, followed by a community walk to the sculpture unveiling at 332 Miracle Mile. Inspired by 19th-century conversation chairs, the piece invites people to share a secret or kind word through a small carved opening — creating moments of quiet connection in a bustling public space.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable celebration of art, community, and the power of human connection. A special thank you to @ccathers_art Catherine Cathers for coordinating the event and sheparding the aquisition and installation on behalf of the city.
