Cambridge Contemporary Crafts is right in the heart of Cambridge's historic city centre on Bene't street, right next to the famous Eagle pub and Jack's Gelato! We show ceramics, glass, jewellery, prints and textiles from over 150 independent artists from around the UK.

Our opening hours are:
Monday - Saturday: 10am - 5.30pm
Sunday & Bank Holidays: 11am - 5pm

Vicky Hageman works from her garden studio on the North Kent coast. She enjoys the repetitive process of wheel throwing using porcelain clay. For lots of her pieces she uses a black and white inlaid slip and sgraffito to create energetic lines. For other pieces she uses muted colours and geometric shapes.

Today we wanted to celebrate Amie who designed this beautiful window display! The design was inspired by the colours in K ceramics pieces and the geometric repeating shapes in The Chemist’s Daughter's paper weavings. Somehow it feels both bold and calming - Thank you Amie we love it!

There's a wonderful contrast with the process of making ceramics and the finished pieces. It's great to see how our current featured artist Kate Clark (aka K Ceramics) transforms the clay into these beautiful ceramics full of texture and calming colours.
