Over the last year, I sat with my own devils & played chess with the devils of others. The little dove took her journey down to the underworld.

‘Outwitting the Stars’, my third album, is out 11.2.2026.

This album is my descent, loosely inspired by the Divine Comedy, a 700-year-old Italian poem by Dante Alighieri, that explores justice, morality, love, and redemption. The album is similarly presented in 3 distinct parts: inferno, purgatorio, and paradiso.

🎧: a stripped version of “I. Let My Devil Play With Yours”. The final cut is…different.

June recap incomingggg! 🪩

As ol’ saying goes, ‘the body keeps the score’. I find myself kicking off July sick in bed repaying my debts 😷🤒 June was packed to the brim, and it looked a little something like this:

- moved out of old house and into a new, but MUCH older one!
- secured my destiny as a plant mom
- secured my destiny as a millenial dj
- made a huge batch of jewelry again for the first time in 16 months, and BOY did it take a lot longer than I remember lol
- played support for a national tour for the first time
- teaching a TON of kids aerial & sound healing (blood pressure pendulums)
- my 3 bffffffffs came to stay with me and played tourist around my town
- released my first single from album 3 (and first as ‘Caroline Chiesa’!), which still hasn’t grown the same legs as my last few...but c’est la vie!! It’s still one of my all-time favs, so I feel peace!
- quietly stepped away from teaching yoga after exactly a decade (more on that at another time, maybe)

Areas to be improved in July:
- didn’t workout once 😫 and I’m feeling it in mind + body + spirit
- haven’t worked on my album…at all. It’s 85% done and just came to a full stop since May 21st 😏
- really burnt the candle at both ends with early morning classes, late night events, and overbooked weekends. Sleep has been incredibly irregular and impacting the rest of my tender, sensative soul!

If you’re still here, thanks for reading my overshare. This was just a reminder that we are all human, and every triumph comes with a price tag. My goal for July is to prioritize my health & wellness, because without that, none of the rest will happen 🤍

I’m so so sooooo excited to officially announce that I have changed my artist name and will now be releasing music under my real, full name—Caroline Chiesa!! 👸🏼✨💕

The artist project has always been an unfiltered expression of my truth, and nothing about the music or its presentation will change! ‘Chiesa’ is an incredibly generic Italian word, so a search for ‘Chiesa’ on most platforms will populate church music lol

If you’ve tried to search for my music over the last few weeks and noticed most of my songs missing or duplicate profiles, this is why 😛 but we did it, and now we’re here to stay!

Now that we’ve got that sorted, time for a new music announcement coming reeeeeeal soon! 😎

This past week has been insane in all of the best ways! We hosted both of our parents & threw our first crawfish boil! Turns out—it’s much more difficult to host a house party when you don’t have any of your things moved in and you’ve only spent a couple of days there. (Also, if I haven’t texted you back in a week, I’m sorry and I’m going to get caught up tomorrow 😵‍💫)

Another highlight of this past week was re-landscaping our new backyard. We made 6 trips to the nursery with cars completely full of plants. I’ve been so, so busy lately and spending way too much time in my head, so to get my hands in soil and potting new flowers all around this place was extremely grounding. It also feels symbolic of a beautiful new era that is taking shape 🤍🌸
