POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve been carrying these 12 songs for a long time, so it feels wild to finally share their names…here is Outwitting the Stars, plus track 12, which you'll have to wait to find out on 11.2 ✨

The majority of these songs evolved through multiple titles, and all landed exactly as they were meant. Now that you know their names, you're in it with me :)

‘Outwitting the Stars’ 💿 is out for listening on November 2. It’s a one-way journey.

Over the last year, I sat with my own devils & played chess with the devils of others. The little dove took her journey down to the underworld.

‘Outwitting the Stars’, my third album, is out 11.2.2026.

This album is my descent, loosely inspired by the Divine Comedy, a 700-year-old Italian poem by Dante Alighieri, that explores justice, morality, love, and redemption. The album is similarly presented in 3 distinct parts: inferno, purgatorio, and paradiso.

🎧: a stripped version of “I. Let My Devil Play With Yours”. The final cut is…different.

Welcome to inferno. Pre-save in bio.

Some patterns feel like bad luck.

They’re not.

They’re evidence of a story you’ve been living out without realizing you agreed to it.

This Sunday night, Caroline and I are helping you find that story and actually rewrite it.

Not talk about it again. REWRITE IT!

Self Love Through Sound: The Rewrite Sunday, September 13th | 6-8pm
Move Studio (Metairie)

*Move community, find it on the Move app

Details and registration link in bio and on my story. Look for “Self Love Through Sound”.

New Orleans, be there or be square 🤪

Most of us can’t actually answer that.

Not because we lack self-awareness, but because we spent years learning how to be acceptable, suitable, appropriate, long before we ever learned to ask what we actually wanted.

I posted someone else’s reel to my story yesterday because it was spot the F on.

To paraphrase what he said:

A bird doesn’t need flight school, flying is already in her. A fish doesn’t need swim lessons, swimming is already in him. Put a fish on land or a bird underwater and suddenly they look untalented, inadequate, like something’s wrong with them.

Nothing’s wrong.
They’re just functioning outside their design.

We’re not so different.

Success and fulfillment are already wired into us, but only when we’re living according to our actual design.

The problem is, most of us spent a lifetime building a version of ourselves based on someone else’s blueprint of what’s expected, acceptable, valuable, safe.

Then we wonder why fulfillment feels so elusive…why we can hit every goal and still feel like we’re swimming on land.

The real you isn’t gone.

She’s just been buried under years of performing a design that was never actually true.

This Sunday, Caroline and I are hosting another Self Love Through Sound event. This one is The Rewrite - built around exactly this topic.

Finding your way back to the design that’s actually yours.

(And if this one hits deep, next Saturday’s Purpose Over Performance workshop goes even further, helping you name the actual purpose underneath it all.)

Drop a 🔥 below and I’ll DM you both links, or you can find them in my bio.

Two opportunities I’m very excited to share with you 🫶

Singer, musician, creative, and an all-around beautiful soul. 🤍✨ @itscarolinechiesa

Had the absolute pleasure of getting creative with my beautiful friend and capturing her in her element. There’s something special about photographing an artist doing what they love—and even more special when that artist happens to be someone you adore 🫶🏻

Sunday was as magical as it was challenging (cut to me panic sound-checking as our first dancers walked in😅).

Look, the dance helps me remember that perfection is not the assignment in this place. Expressing our humanness is the only objective. And that, we accomplished. The merits of this practice quite literally rippled out into Bayou St. John, where the flowers from our dance were given back to the earth.

The storyteller herself, @itscarolinechiesa , and her musical wave got us there. The creative space that @ovarydose held with her art got us there. A last-minute FaceTime with our audio-keeper @dominicmercante got us there. And the two humans who met my panic with presence got us there.

Let’s meet there again, aye?

Next moments to move with us @newmarignytheatre :
☀️August 30 | 3P
☀️September 13 | 3P
☀️September 20 | 3P (📸 to be captured by @thelexihingle , more details to come)
