5 tips to keep Skaneateles Lake clean:
1. Skip lawn fertilizer: most of the time you don’t need it anyways!
2. Pump your septic system regularly (every 3-5 years).
3. Plant along your lake and streamside shorelines with native perennial plants.
4. Clean, drain, and dry your boat before entering the lake.
5. Plant a native meadow – you’ll be helping the water quality and pollinators! #waterquality #skaneateleslake #garden #boat #lawncare taken in Skaneateles Lake by @cce_onondaga
