Massive swell hitting Terrigal today and it is absolutely wild. This is the kind of ocean power we don’t see often, locals are already calling it a once in 100 year event.

Waves are pumping, coastline is copping it, and the energy out there is next level. If you’re heading down, stay safe and keep your distance. This isn’t the day to get too close.

FINALLY! Mexican street food in Terrigal that’s absolutely bursting with flavour, colour and personality!

Lucky enough to attend the soft launch of @pickled_cactus_taqueria and OMG, I’m obsessed!

🌮 Quesabirria tacos with rich, slow-braised beef and dipping consommé. INCREDIBLE!

🌽 Corn ribs. An absolute must!

🔥 Buffalo chicken wings. Another favourite!

Plus al pastor pork tacos, Baja fish tacos, loaded rice bowls, fabulous margaritas and house-made salsas and pickles!

The new venue is fabulous, the food is a feast for the senses and I’m already dreaming about going back for the Mexican charcoal chicken and yellow rice!

Josh and Laura, congratulations! You’re absolutely crushing it! 💌

// MERIBELLA, TERRIGAL ✨🥂

Absolutely divine! @meribellaterrigal far surpassed my expectations. Beautiful food, great wine and warm, unpretentious service.

Anywhere pouring Veuve by the glass gets a big tick from me! 🥂 And my fave local Uprising sourdough with roasted chicken and chive butter… OMG that butter!

We loved the snacks, especially the crispy Hawkesbury River school prawns with yuzu mayo, Sydney rock oysters with smoked beef tallow and the moreish duck skewer with black garlic glaze.

Dish of the night was the Terrigal bonito. We’re forever chasing bonito off Terrigal ourselves, so I loved seeing such beautiful local produce on the menu. The calamari and dashi risotto was another winner, followed by an ELITE aged duck breast, perfectly matched with a Dalrymple Pinot recommended by Lisa.

I loved the focus on Australian and local produce and showcasing what the Central Coast has to offer.

Why haven’t I eaten here before now?! Great bar for sundowners too. We’ll be back. 💌

THE PICKLED CACTUS TAQUERIA 🌮🔥

Flavour bomb from a little van!

If you’re looking for dinner tonight, do yourself a favour and head to @pickled_cactus_taqueria (1 Ocean View Drive, Wamberal). You might even see us there. 😉

We absolutely loved everything we tried. The chicken wings (not pictured) were outstanding, the birria tacos were packed with flavour, the pork tacos were equally delicious, and the corn ribs were an absolute standout too! I’d happily order every single one of those again.

The kids’ meals are fantastic value, and both of my boys absolutely smashed their dinners.

We were so full we couldn’t fit in dessert this time, but that’s already at the top of the list for our next visit.

Central Coast food scene is going from strength to strength. Such a fantastic new addition to Wamberal. Can’t wait to go back! 💌

Spoilt for choice on the Central Coast, it was honestly so hard to decide where to celebrate my birthday on Friday. I’m beyond happy we landed at @queseraterrigal

Celebrating 10 years of friendship, 10 years on the CC, and @thetropicterrigal delivered.

Calamari fritti is a new addition and absolutely fabulous.
Steak frites… elite.
Crab pasta, pumpkin risotto, eggplant cotoletta, all hits.
Ocean trout special was fresh and seriously impressive.

Wines and service were spot on, desserts didn’t miss, and we finished with espresso martinis.

Polished, vibey, and perfect for a long dinner with your people. 💌
