This was Christopher on his birthday, surrounded by family. Before blowing out the candles, he stood up and said, “Thank you for coming… I’m going to act like my dad.” A moment I’ll treasure forever. 💙 #Christopher #ForeverMissed #FatherAndSon #EmotionalVideo #FamilyMemories by @ccfworld

AN INVITATION TO HELP PROTECT A GENERATION One introduction could transform our charity. One partnership could protect thousands of children. One decision could save a life. Some people can support a good cause. A smaller number have the power to transform it. Christoforos Charity Foundation is seeking visionary philanthropists, business leaders, charitable foundations and corporate partners who want to leave a lasting legacy in the protection of children. After losing our 15-year-old son, Christoforos, following online grooming, manipulation and threats, we turned our pain into a mission: to educate children and parents before another family experiences the same tragedy. We are already reaching young people through school assemblies, safeguarding presentations and positive activities away from screens. With the right partner, we can take this vital work to thousands more children across the UK and beyond. This is more than a request for a donation. It is an invitation to help build something that could protect an entire generation. If you have the influence and resources to help—or can introduce us to someone who does—we would be honoured to speak with you privately. Please visit www.ccfworld.org or contact us directly. It can take just a minute for a predator to make contact with a child online. In this clip from my podcast with Everything Changed, I talk about the dangers children can face on social media—and why we must take them seriously. Online conversations can move quickly, and children may not always recognise when someone is trying to manipulate or harm them. Please talk openly with your children about who they speak to online, encourage them to come to you if anything makes them uncomfortable, and stay involved in their digital lives. A conversation today could help protect them tomorrow. Please watch, share, and help spread awareness. #OnlineSafety #ChildSafety #SocialMediaSafety #ProtectOurChildren #OnlinePredators by @ccfworld
In this episode George shares the heartbreaking story of his son, Christopher, who tragically lost his life after becoming a victim of online grooming and bullying. In this deeply important conversation, George opens up about the dangers of online gaming and chat rooms, the warning signs parents need to be aware of, and the information he wishes he had known sooner. This is a difficult but incredibly important conversation, one that could help another family recognise the risks and potentially prevent another tragedy. Please take the time to listen, share this episode, and help us raise awareness. You never know who might need to hear it. Link in bio 🎙️ by @ccfworld

Looking ahead to Youth Tech Fest Cyprus 2027! While in Cyprus, I had the pleasure of meeting Sean Alimov, organiser of the 5th Youth Tech Fest Cyprus, taking place on 6 February 2027. We’re delighted that the Christoforos Charity Foundation has been invited to take part as a guest speaker. We’ll be sharing our experience and speaking about how we can help children stay safer online, understand the risks of social media and online gaming, and recognise the dangers of interacting with people they don’t know. Thank you to Sean for the invitation. We’re looking forward to joining an event that celebrates children’s creativity, innovation, technology, science and entrepreneurship—and helping make online safety part of that conversation. #YouthTechFest #YouthTechFestCyprus #OnlineSafety #ChildSafety #ccfworld by @ccfworld
Today, we are at Parliament to meet Andy Burnham and Lisa Nandy and discuss the next steps towards protecting children from the dangers of social media, including the campaign for a ban for under-16s. We are here as parents whose lives have been changed forever by the loss of our children. Their photographs remind us that behind every statistic is a child, a family and a future that mattered. We want meaningful action, stronger protection and change that comes soon enough to keep other families from experiencing this heartbreak. We will keep speaking up for our children and for every young person who deserves to be safe online. Thank you to everyone standing with us. Please support the work of the Christoforos Charity Foundation at CCFWorld.org. #ProtectChildrenOnline #SocialMediaSafety #Under16s #ChildSafety #CCFWorld by @ccfworld

Turning unimaginable heartbreak into hope for other families. Last night, Love Your Doorstep had the privilege of supporting the @ccfworld at their sold-out UK National Zeimbekiko Championship Charity Dinner & Dance, held at the Palace Banqueting Suite in Waltham Abbey. Behind this incredible charity is a heartbreaking story that every parent should hear. In March 2022, George and Areti Nicolaou lost their beloved 15-year-old son, Christoforos (Christopher), after he became a victim of online predators, coercion and dangerous online challenges. Determined that no other family should experience the pain they have endured, George and Areti established the Christoforos Charity Foundation in their son’s memory. Their mission is to protect children and young people from the dangers of social media, cyberbullying and online exploitation through education, awareness and opportunities for young people to connect and enjoy life away from their screens. ❤️ Last night was a beautiful reminder of the power of community. A sold-out evening brought people together in support of this important cause, with wonderful Greek dancing, including performances by talented young people, celebrating culture, tradition and togetherness. It was particularly moving to see so many people united behind a family who have turned their grief into a determination to protect others. 🎬 We also look forward to sharing more about an upcoming feature film being made by @twofreshproductions Fresh. More news on that soon! At Love Your Doorstep, we believe that community is about so much more than where we live. It’s about standing alongside one another, raising awareness and supporting those working to make a difference. We are proud to support George, Areti and the Christoforos Charity Foundation in their mission to help save young lives. Please take a moment to learn about Christopher’s story and the important work being done in his memory. It could help protect another child. 🌐 www.ccfworld.org #ChristoforosCharityFoundation #LoveYourDoorstep #OnlineSafety #ProtectOurChildren #CommunitySupport GreekCommunity HelpingSaveLives by @ccfworld
