48 hours in Seattle.

Pike Place. Ferry sunsets. 13.1 miles of mud. A Kraken game. And one airport cocktail before heading home.

But the best part was never what we did. It was who I got to do it with.

We took on Seattle and somehow packed a lifetime of memories into one hell of a weekend.

You blink twice, and somehow the day you trained months for has already become a memory.

13.1 miles. 30 obstacles. Mud, water, carries, crawls, laughter, suffering, and four friends who refused to let anyone face it alone.

We started together. We fought through it together. We crossed the finish line together.

Finished coaching our deployed @crossfitgames Open Friday Night Lights tonight and I was presented with one of the most thought gifts I have ever received! I’ve had the opportunity over the last 3.5 months to introduce and coach an awesome group of friends in CrossFit.

It has been such a rewarding experience to share in all of their accomplishments and triumphs. From first muscle ups to new PRs and seeing the improvement in technique has been exciting and I truly have enjoyed showing up every day to coach this amazing group of people.

Although we have now made it through the Open together, we still have a few weeks that I will get to spend with this group of friends! To know that I have been able to make an impact in my friends’ lives by sharing my passion with them, it is a completely humbling feeling.

A very special thanks goes out to my 2 best friends here, @missynicole04 and @dafisher1 for the thoughtful gift. And to everyone who took the time to sign, I just want to say thank you! by @ccolvindo
