In Faith and Misery - In Faith and Misery EP
Released August 21st, 2026

Arizona deathcore band In Faith and Misery brings crushing heaviness and melodic contrast that gives me nostalgic pleasure.

Blending classic deathcore influences with a modern approach, the EP is a perfect introduction to this band.

Tracklist:
1. In Faith and Misery
2. With These Hands
3. Zeph’s Goodbye
4. Red Tears
5. Everything Everywhere All At Once

Feat. Bonus Slam Ep
6. My Glock
7. Nuthin But Brootality (Feat. Wormslab)
8. Meat

Piggy Squeels Records is one to pay attention to! They have been releasing albums from awesome upcoming bands and they even Hand Number each CD (limited to 100 or 130 copies) featuring some wicked cover art. I love the album and disc art on this one.

Forever is Forgotten - The Architecture is Still Burning

TRACKLIST:
1. Oh Baby, Pretty Like a Car Crash
2. Dying Beautiful
3. The Architecture Is Still Burning
4. I’m Glad You’re Dead
5. Goodnight Sweet Prince
6. Forfeiture of Thumbs
7. Tied to a Stranger’s Hand
8. Choking On
9. Destroying a Lifetime of Innocence
10. Nostradamus Would Have Wanted It This Way

Fairly new pickup of mine, heavily slept on band.

Released July 29, 2003 through Thorp Records, The Architecture Is Still Burning is a
chaotic snapshot of early-2000s metalcore and hardcore. Hailing from Milwaukee,
Wisconsin, Forever Is Forgotten brought together crushing riffs, technical guitar work,
frantic drums, breakdowns, and an experimental edge that made them stand out in the
era’s heavy music scene.

STOP PAYING FOR STREAMING PLATFORMS

Switch back to itunes! Buy physical media!
#savephysicalmedia

I one taked this video and I hate how I sound in it, but imma just power through and get comfortable with it. I’ll sound less gay and retarded the more I do it.

People paying 10-30$ on music streaming platforms MONTHLY. You could be buying lots of cds each month instead! One year of cd buying with the same amount you spend on streaming services and you’d be sitting on 100s of cds.

Buy sell and trade them.
Go to record stores and support them!

You are literally just burning money paying for streaming platforms. You can argue and say you can pirate music, and sure you can. You can’t look at them physically and enjoy the lost art of cd booklets. You can’t resell or trade them with friends. Some cds even go up in value overtime!

Be apart of the downfall of society and be a sell out, or go back to your roots kid, it’s up to you.

CD of the Day: Day 3
Dedication 2 by @liltunechi @djdrama

It’s almost summer time, you’re scrolling through @datpiff looking for new mixtapes to listen to. It was impossible not to stumble across Lil Wayne. The Dedication mixtape series were certified classics. Happy to have some in my collection. Debating on upgrading them to thicker cases instead of the thin jewel cases and maybe even custom making the inside artwork. Thicker CDs display better I feel like.

Thoughts?

CD of the Day: Day 2
Sky Eats Airplane — Sky Eats Airplane (2008)

It’s messy. It’s aggressive. It’s ridiculously catchy. It’s got that unmistakable MySpace-era energy where bands weren’t worried about whether something was “too much.“ If a breakdown sounded better with a fucking laser beam behind it, then goddamn it, put the laser beam in.

Released in 2008, this thing came flying out of the absolute madhouse that was the late-2000s
electronicore scene. Before every band and their fucking cousin was throwing programmed electronics, synths, glitch effects and autotuned chaos over breakdowns, Sky Eats Airplane were already doing it — and doing it with zero interest in keeping things comfortable.

My first concert I ever saw: Sky Eats Airplane, The Devil Wears Prada, A Day To Remember, and
Emarosa “Home Sick Tour”. I was front row at the bar as a young 8th grader. Fell in love with the band during their performance, and even bought this cd at the show. I got a concussion from a large fat chick attempting to crowd surf. Landed on the back of my head and I face planted the metal bar. Ended up meeting the band Emarosa and wore the drummers jacket for a bit while I talked to them. Super nice guys. They kicked ass before they turned away from their metalcore roots.

Sky Eats Airplane is still slept on to this day. Should have been a powerhouse in the Myspace hardcore world by @cdarchiving

There are albums that are good.
And then there are albums that are OHH MY FUCKINNG GOOOOODD!!

CD of the Day: Day 1
Asking Alexandria — Stand Up & Scream
Released September 15, 2009.

One of my favorite albums of all time, and one of my favorite CDs in my collection.

This record is basically a time capsule from that era when metalcore decided it wasn’t enough to just sound heavy. Fuck no. We needed breakdowns that would cause a crab to snap in half, stupid catchy synths, messy hair, skinny jeans, enough eyeliner to paint a fucking house, and a vocalist who sounded like they were trying to shatter souls.

Stand Up & Scream was Asking Alexandria’s debut full-length, and you can hear a band throwing absolutely everything they had at the wall. The guitars are filthy, the drums are relentless, the synths are everywhere, and Danny Worsnop spends the entire album sounding like his vocal cords have personally declared war on him.

Tracks like “The Final Episode (Let’s Change the Channel),” “A Prophecy,” “Not the American Average,” “If You Can’t Ride Two Horses at Once... You Should Get Out of the Circus” and “Hey There Mr. Brooks” became iconic staples of that era.

Let’s talk about “The Final Episode.”
That opening.
Those synths.
That fucking breakdown.

Then Danny comes screaming in with “Oh my God...” and suddenly you’re 17 again, standing in someone’s basement with your ears ringing, wondering why your neck hurts and why there’s a stranger’s shoe stuck in the ceiling.

The lyrics throughout the album bounce between sex, partying, relationships, betrayal, anger, arrogance, ignorance, and generally making terrible decisions with enthusiasm. It’s not trying to be some polished philosophical masterpiece. It’s raw, dramatic, juvenile, theatrical, obnoxious—and that’s exactly why it’s so good. There is nothing commercial about it. It’s real emotion.

There’s something incredibly fun about music that doesn’t give a shit about being restrained.

You don’t put on this album to casually listen to in the background.
You put it on because peace was never an option.
