Words fall far short of how proud I am of this group of dancers 😄😌🤓 This is a clip of their very FIRST time competing as tap dancers and only after not even 2 full years of training 🥳😁 Shout out to my new dance fam @cdcdancecompany @bookofjiya for welcoming me into the fray and trusting the method of madness!

Dancers, please tag yourselves!

Thank you to @lin.d.official for the track! Absolutely bananas energy, praise God! I knew immediately when I heard it that I needed to create something to it 😅😁💯

Shout out to Inspire National Dance Competition for creating the space for these young artists to hone their craft. by @cdcdancecompany

They said tell a story.
So we did. 🎭
“Where We Hide” is our first ever production piece, and these dancers brought magic to the stage.
Masks. Movement. Mystery.
A dream brought to life.
✨ Elite Awards
✨ Unforgettable moment
✨ Proud beyond words
Small studio.
Big artistry.

Comp season is officially in motion! 💥
Before we hit the stage again this weekend, we had to run it back to our first competition of the season at Inspire Dance Competition.
Because behind every trophy, every award, every moment on stage…
there’s blood, sweat, and pirouettes.
Late nights. Early rehearsals. Blisters. Breakthroughs.
And dancers who refuse to give up.
This is the result of the dedication our dancers bring into the studio every single day.
A small studio with a strong fight… and we’re only getting better.
So proud of our Collective and grateful to @inspirendc for kicking off our season with such an amazing experience. 💜
Next stop: the stage again this weekend.
Let’s go. 🔥

Shout out to the newest branch of my dance fam @cdcdancecompany on an incredible start to season 11 this past weekend!! Y’all truly moved me to get out my seat and scream something at you!!! I am so so proud of the hard work you put in and how far you’ve come in such a short amount of time!

Thank you @bookofjiya for welcoming me into your family and trusting me with what you’ve built and are building 🙏💪🫶

✨💜 Dear Collective… IT’S SHOWTIME!!! 💜✨ Six months deep — look how y’all grew,
Late nights, sore feet, but you pushed right through.
New skills unlocked, confidence loud,
Tears turned to power — and BABY I’m proud!
I watched you stumble, then rise like queens,
Fight through the hard days and chase big dreams.
Holding each other down, standing ten toes,
Turning our stories into art that GLOWS.
Today’s the day — no holding back,
No playing it safe, stay on ATTACK.
Don’t chase judges, don’t fear the lights,
Just dance your truth and OWN your flights.
This right here? Where practice meets ARTISTRY,
And every single one of you is magic to me.
You are my muses, my heart, my why —
Now take that stage and FLY, FLY, FLY!
No fear. No doubts.
Just PRESS ON THE GAS ⛽🔥 Big Facials… don’t hide behind that Bridgerton Mask 🎭
Love you forever & always 🤍
XOXO, Coach Jiya
