Big news! I’m pleased to announce the opening of @permanent_location on the 1st October. Our neighbour @darren_flook opens Room 10 on the same night.

Our first show is with David Annesley and Luke Samuel #davidAnnesley @lukerjsamuel

I am running the space with my dearest @link.the.pink

I’m very grateful for Darren and our conversations about how to open a space in the current art market. It’s a joy to be building a new community.

Lots more mother and art gallerist photos to follow.

Join us for the private views, 1 October, 6-8pm

Press release:
Two new micro galleries will open in Bow Wharf, next to Victoria Park in East London this October.
The project represents a unique cross-generational collaboration, and grew out of a conversation between Charlie Nia Dunnery McCracken and Darren Flook about the current challenges facing the
London art scene.

While rising rents in major cities have crippled much of the independent arts sector in recent years, the temporary nature of the units, as they await redevelopment, makes them affordable. The 4 x 4
metre spaces provide an opportunity to sidestep as much as possible the costs of running a programme in London, and to focus instead on exhibitions, experimentation and artist relationships.
The two neighbouring, small-scale spaces are housed in simple wooden pavilions located next to the Hertford Union Canal and only four minutes’ walk from the highly esteemed Chisenhale Gallery. taken in Bow Wharf by @cdmccracken
