Last night’s event was truly brilliant — a moment filled with beauty, culture, and genuine connection.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Embassy of Georgia to Italy, our generous hosts, for welcoming us with such warmth and elegance.

Our heartfelt thanks go to @cecchimonique, founder of @romajewelryweek, whose vision and dedication continue to inspire meaningful cultural dialogue.

Rome once again becomes an international stage for contemporary jewelry with the sixth edition of Roma Jewelry Week (RJW), the citywide event conceived and directed by architect and curator Monica Cecchini. Running until October 11, the 2026 edition brings together more than 130 goldsmiths, jewelry designers and contemporary jewelry artists from countries including Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Costa Rica, Brazil, China, Romania, Bulgaria, Armenia, Thailand, Iran and Lebanon. Rather than concentrating on a single venue, RJW unfolds across Rome through exhibitions, workshops, talks, awards, performances and encounters with schools, institutions and historic ateliers. At its core is a broad definition of jewelry: not simply adornment, but a field where craftsmanship, artistic research, technology, cultural memory and experimentation intersect. The official RJW platform itself stresses this dialogue between contemporary creativity and innovation on one side, and traditional goldsmithing techniques on the other. That philosophy feels particularly fitting in Rome, a city where jewelry has always existed in close proximity to architecture, painting, sculpture and the decorative arts…..

Monica Cecchini is an architect, interior designer, technical consultant, and curator of artistic and cultural events. In 2016, she founded Incinque Open Art Monti, now a leading reference point for contemporary jewelry in Rome, where she promotes dialogue between art, architecture, design, and traditional craftsmanship. Since 2019, she has focused her main activities on contemporary jewelry, and since 2023, she has developed a residency program dedicated to contemporary jewelry, welcoming artists, designers, and master goldsmiths. In 2021, she founded and continues to direct Rome Jewelry Week, an international event that promotes jewelry as an art form and cultural language, bringing together artists, designers, master goldsmiths, and professionals from around the world. by @cecchimonique

🤩🤩🤩 At the invitation of the organizers Roma Jewelry Week @romajewelryweek and Monica Cecchini @cecchimonique, our Senior Lecturer and Educational Ambassador Andreia Gabriela Popescu curated a group of five students from our school, to exhibit their pieces created especially in the theme “The Crown of Ingenuity” of the event, alongside established artists.

✨ We are very proud to announce Miroslava-Melinda Vasilache @slavkavasilache participation in the Premio Incinque Jewels, the sixth edition of the RJW 2026 🥳

Biography:

Studying at the Assamblage School of Contemporary Jewelry Bucharest, Miroslava Vasilache aspires to blend the spirit of geometry with artistic versatility, exploring techniques that unite creative curiosity and a drive to aestheticize everyday life.
She participated in several exhibitions as part of the School’s Collective of ambassadors.

I colori accesi che catturano la luce, i capelli che danzano nel vento e quel legame profondo con il mare, dove lo sguardo si perde verso l’orizzonte e l’infinito. È stato questo scatto, intriso di libertà e calore, a far nascere l’ispirazione per l’illustrazione dell’estate.

Ispirandomi a questa fotografia, ho voluto catturare l’essenza di quel momento.

Domani, venerdì 2 ottobre, saró dalle 18:00 a Incinque Open Art Monti con “Le quattro stagioni di una donna” per l’apertura della ROMA JEWELRY WEEK 2026 in dialogo con i gioielli degli artisti residenti della galleria.

With a background in psychology and graphic design, Flavia Fabian creates jewellery that bridges awareness, communication, and form. Using organic textures and geometric volumes in traditional and alternative materials, she turns abstract ideas into tangible, meaningful experiences. As part of the Assamblage School Collective, her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
