What can I say, 40 was a year of discomfort, rediscovery, healing mixed with some serious anxiety + moments of intense sadness. I wasn’t prepared and frankly still not. This year no real goals, just a whole lot of deep gratitude. For the friendships that have survived, the relationships I let go which no longer served me, the family I was blessed to have and all the amazing memories despite hardships that 41 years has brought me. One thing grief has taught me, is that it can co-exist with joy. I’m finding joy in all things, that I already have. Thank you everyone for the birthday love. This year I truly truly needed it!

June is already making my heart so full. I spent a wonderful weekend in Chi-Town celebrating my sister’s accomplishments; as she graduated from Devry University with her Certificate in Health Medical Billing & Coding! So proud of her, I know it wasn’t easy and there were many obstacles standing in her way. She juggled being a single Mom to a toddler, a full-time job and a demanding program. However, she is a reminder that it’s never too late to start over and to go after your dreams. We all end up finding our way! Daddy would be so proud & he’s smiling down on you. Congrats Cady!

2025 end of year dump…and good riddance to a year filled with drama, stress, and uncertainty lol 😂 I couldn’t have survived without my ride or dies.
