Ever wanted to try your hand at metalsmithing?

Join artist Felicia Jordan (@krystal_galeart) on Saturday, October 24th for a hands-on introduction to one of the fundamentals of metalsmiting.

You’ll learn to use a jeweler’s saw and create your own custom copper bookmark, just in time for Halloween.

No experience necessary. Come make something by hand and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece of your own!

Saturday, October 24th
1:00PM — 5:00PM

Sign up through the link in bio.

Felicia’s practice explores our physical, mental, and emotional bodies through hands-on-fabrication.

In this workshop, she brings that same attention to the relationship between body, material and making to the jeweler’s saw. taken in The Cedars Union by @cedarsunion

Each artist will share a little about their creative practice, what they’re hoping to explore during their time at the CU, and what’s next for their work.

Come hear directly from the artists, get to know the newest members of our community, and help us welcome Cohort VI into the CU family.

With your support we raised $13,889 on North Texas Giving Day. Every dollar helps us provide Cohort VI with the resources they need to do their best work; and every dollar is a vote of confidence in emerging artists and the role they play in our city.

From all of us at The CU, thank you for believing in the work we do! by @cedarsunion

Every dollar donated to The CU on @northtexasgivingday generates real impact for artists.

We are making progress toward our $18,000 goal, but we still need your help. If you have been meaning to give, now is the time. cedarsunion.org/support/ taken in The Cedars Union by @cedarsunion
