The one where our prayers became a heartbeat…

With full hearts and overwhelming joy, Brandon and I are extremely blessed to finally share the most sacred secret we’ve been keeping close to our hearts.

This October 2025, our little party of two becomes three.
A dream we’ve quietly held, a prayer we’ve whispered countless times—answered in His perfect timing. In February, God gently placed the sweetest miracle in our lives, and since then, our hearts have been growing in love, faith, and wonder.

To our village: family and friends—thank you. Your prayers, love, and support have carried us to this very moment. We can’t wait to step into this next chapter of parenthood and shower our baby girl with every ounce of love we’ve been saving just for her.

P.S. To my Jacinto clan specifically… mybad yall 😅 forgive me for adding another October baby to the celebration chaos—but we all know the more, the merrier!

Allow me to reintroduce myself… I am now and forever Mrs. Strausser 💍🕊️🤍

On September 9th, I said “I Do” to my forever life partner. Being surrounded by our village as our witnesses made this moment all the more meaningful and memorable.

My baby’s father. My soulmate. My better half. My husband!

Bubs, I love you so much. You choosing me not only fills my heart completely, but I know my angels in heaven are crying tears of joy because of you.

I could have never imagined a more beautiful life than the one we’ve already created together—and the best part is, we’re just getting started. We’ll continue to grow old side by side, building this incredible life hand in hand.

What we prayed for is finally ours, and I can’t wait for everything that’s ahead for our growing family.

Ailah’s first Disneyland trip consisted of mobbing onto thrilling roller coasters, BOOzey treat trails for the adults, 10K+ steps a day, getting absolutely showered at Tiana’s Bayou, wheezing from laughter, and little sprinkles of Disney magic along the way. 🏰💫

Thank you to our village for making Ailah’s first Disney trip one heck of a good time. Core memories were definitely made. 🫂🤍✨

10 months of keeping a child alive, but also 10 months of learning how to keep myself alive.

I could go on and on about how beautiful life has been since becoming a mother to this sweet pea. But there’s another side of motherhood that isn’t always talked about—the part where you continue showing up every day to love and care for your child while simultaneously learning how to love yourself again, take care of yourself, and create some sense of “normalcy” in a life that suddenly feels so different.

Sometimes, that nurture I give myself feels distant and unfamiliar. But with time, patience, dedication, and above all, grace, the turnaround has been transformative and humbling all at once.

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that we’re approaching the end stages of infancy with our first baby and are about to level up to having a toddler in our household. And doing it without our first fur baby, Chanel, makes this season bittersweet. But we are so incredibly lucky that they had the chance to share their little moments together while they could.

Grief and happiness are such a strange mix. Somehow, they can exist in the same heart and give you the strength to move mountains.

All thanks to Christ. 🤍

10 months of her.
10 months of becoming a mother.
10 months of finding my way back to myself, too.
And I’m so grateful for every bit of it.

Nine months in the womb, and now nine beautiful months of watching you grow in our arms. 🤍

This ninth month of being your parents has opened our eyes to so many milestones—more cuddles and clinginess, teething growing pains, an endless love for food, exciting new developments, your first crawl, your first time standing, your first time feeding yourself, and even your first time soothing yourself to sleep.

You’re growing up so incredibly fast, our silly goose. Every day with you is our greatest blessing, and we are so proud to be your mommy and daddy.

To Ailah’s Father,

I thank God for you every. single. day.

From the moment we met, our life goals have always been so in sync. Coming from big, loving families who were so supportive of our relationship, we always knew from the very beginning that we were each other’s person and end game. As we slowly checked off our bucket lists—traveling, enjoying life together, and building our future—a year ago, you and I created a little human who carries qualities from both of us. And now, we have her as a reason to celebrate today.

To celebrate you.

Seeing you grow from being my absolute favorite person in the entire universe—and in all the galaxies—to now flourishing into Ailah’s favorite man, her one and only daddy, and her goofiest best friend, makes my heart so full. You make this life extremely sweet, beautiful, and a mixture of chaos that somehow makes everything in this lifetime so worth living.

You make me proud to be your wife and partner. I love how calm and at peace we are while parenting Ailah because we know that every season is temporary. The blowouts, the clinginess, the messes, the late nights spent wrestling our girl to sleep, and the midnight wake-ups when she simply wants to be cuddled by us—we take it all in stride. Hand in hand, we face it with grace and do it together, which makes building our family so enjoyable and filled with so much love.

Thank you for being my home, for making my emptiness feel less empty, and for always pushing me to be the best version of myself.

May God always protect you when I can’t, and may He always remind you that you are deeply loved and appreciated by our village.

To my best friend, my first girl, my chay chay, and goodest lil mama ever,

thank you for making me laugh with your silly snorts and bursts of energy,
thank you for riding along in all of our roadtrips near and far to not let me have fomo.
I loved how you boldly claimed your territory even if it was never your space to begin with,
the way you’d share your walks with Coby and walk side by side always fulfilled me,
The way you secretly admired being pampered by mamala with freshly oiled up snouts and freshly cut nails.
thank you for putting up with me and my billions of purchases in dresses to put on you,
I cant thank you enough for being there for me through my hardships, accomplishments, and life choices.. you were my absolute best friend.
Thank you for being such a light to our family and everyone around you,
Your crooked smile will always be my favorite.
Your personality was truly one of a kind, and im so grateful to have shared you with so many.
I love you Chanelley, Chay Chay, my lil mama.

Thank you, my sweet girl, for allowing me to be included in today’s celebration 🤍

I’m so lucky to celebrate not only my first Mother’s Day, but also the first Mother’s Day for the best mamala as a grandma 💐

To have three generations together means so much to our growing family, and I can never thank my mom enough for being the role model I continue to look up to and seek guidance from.

If anyone knows my mom, they know just how caring and loving she is to everyone around her. The way she carries herself through all of life’s trials and tribulations with grace is truly inspiring, to say the least.

Everyone tells me how lucky Ailah is to have me as her mommy, but truly, I am the lucky one. To have such a beautiful daughter who grants me the role of being her mother is the greatest blessing I could ever ask for.

I prayed for my future partner.
Prayed for a family.
Prayed to bear a child.
Prayed to remain fearful of Him and obedient to the life He calls me to live.

There are moments where I feel tested — through friendships, through environments that do not move like Him, and through temptations meant to confuse my spirit. But every single time I choose to be still and stay grounded, the Holy Spirit meets me there and shakes me to my bones.

I truly cannot thank Jesus enough for the life He has given me. To feel rich in love, faith, grace, and purpose is more than I could have ever asked for in this lifetime. What a blessing it is to witness answered prayers while still learning to trust Him through every season.

April archives ♡

Spent this month intentionally making more time for Jesus, pouring into our tribe, celebrating birthdays and little milestones with friends, and slowing down enough for a family photoshoot to capture the sweetness of life with our half-year-old.

Time feels like such a thief lately, but being fully present in these moments makes them feel eternal in a way. The laughter, the tiny hands, the familiar faces around our table — all of it has become deeply embedded in my soul. ♡ by @ceilleaj
