Bookended this trip to Georgia (the country) with a few days in the capital of Tbilisi. The city is a juxtaposition of ancient charm, Soviet influence, and bustling modern energy. I did a cooking class and street art tour, soaked in sulfur baths, meandered the cobblestone streets, traversed all the bridges, took in the nightlife, and was treated with the utmost hospitality. The Georgian people are incredibly independent, resilient, and proud of their culture, and it’s a truly fascinating country 🇬🇪❤️ taken in Tbilisi, Georgia by @cejaxx

Wandered the cobblestone streets, marveled at street art and centuries-old architecture, hiked (and zip-lined) through caves, canyons & waterfalls. Missing my father a little more today, more than 14 years after his death. Dad was kindhearted and charismatic, and instilled my love of jazz, travel, and outdoor adventures. He had a hot temper but was cool under pressure, and was generous with his time and attention. Dad loved deeply, laughed loudly, and lived with integrity. I’m grateful for the years we had together, and am sending extra love to anyone who needs it today 💜 by @cejaxx

Evanston peeps! My beloved bike was stolen from the garage yesterday. Nobody was hurt, nothing else was taken, everything is fine. Yes, I filed a police report. No, my insurance doesn’t cover it. Yes, I am grateful to have an old bike I can use. But I’m heartbroken and sorely missing this sweet ride. If you can PLEASE keep your eyes open for it on the street, I’d greatly appreciate it! It’s a dark green Trek Dual Sport 2 Gen 5. Thank you for any help and leads! xo Carrie by @cejaxx
