For many, working with a travel advisor is a first-time experience, so I wanted to share what it’s like to work with me and all the ways I can help.

🧳 Most think you need a travel advisor just for the big trips—milestone events you’ve dreamed of for years. And yes, those are amazing to plan together! But there’s so much more.

Do you have a quick weekend getaway? Work trip? Visiting family and know exactly which hotel you want? As your travel advisor, I can book that hotel at no cost to you.

Thanks to my connections and partnerships, I can almost always elevate your stay with perks and upgrades. Simply send me your dates and hotel choice and we can get it booked in minutes.

🧐 Curious what else comes at no cost? Booking hotels, cruises, all-inclusive resorts, flights, airport transfers, and travel insurance.

I take it off your to-do list while ensuring you get helpful information with all the details you need.

For complete trip planning—ones that include flights, transfers, hotels, ground transportation, tours, and more—that’s a more involved process so there is a planning fee.

It takes time, collaboration, and coordination with suppliers on the ground to make your travel dreams come to life. But the good news is your only job will be to pack your bags. I’ll take care of all the details for a stress-free trip.

📜 We all know not every trip needs every detail planned in advance. Sometimes you want to do some of it yourself—you just need a head start! That’s where my destination guides come in.

For a smaller fee, after I book your hotels, I’ll create a personalized guide with my researched and personal suggestions for tours, sightseeing, and restaurants so you can create your own adventure.

Above all, I’m here to help in whatever capacity you need!

📧 Getting started is easy—send me an email or DM and I’ll send you a link to share your travel plans or schedule a time to talk. For quick hotel bookings, I can send you everything you need within minutes.

📌 I’m here for questions, ideas, and conversation to help you navigate travel with ease. I look forward to working with you!

You asked, I answered! My most FAQ as a travel advisor:

What type of clients do you work with?
If you love to travel and are just too busy to sort through every last detail of travel planning or get overwhelmed with where to start, then I can help. My current clients include couples, families with older kids and groups of friends that love to travel together.

What destinations do you book?
Thanks to the resources available to me through @hellofora, I can help with most locations but I’d say my strengths are in planning trips to Europe, South America, North America and the Caribbean.

What are your available services?
From booking hotels to full custom itineraries, it’s all about what you need. I can book cruises, plan road trips, design honeymoons, research resorts, assist with ground transports, share insurance quotes and more. If it involves travel, I can help.

When is a good time to start planning?
The more time you give me, the better I can help. I am currently accepting clients for Holiday and Spring Travel.

How do I get started?
Talking travel is my favorite thing to do. Follow the link in my bio and let’s chat! We can set up a time to talk. I’d love to learn about your travel plans.

Any other questions? Drop them below and I’d love to help!

Behind every itinerary I create, there’s a why — and it starts with yours.

My greatest mission is to understand the reasons behind your travel — what’s drawing you to a destination, what you’re hoping to feel, and what you want to take away from the experience.

Whether it’s to rest or roam, to discover new places or rediscover yourself, my purpose is to help you get there — physically, emotionally, or both.

I believe travel should feel authentic, approachable, and aligned with who you are.Never copy-pasted from someone else’s trip.

My joy comes from the conversations, the collaboration, and the moment you return home full of stories, insights, and memories that changed you for the better.

Travel does that — it expands our compassion, curiosity, and connection to others. And our world could use a little more of all three!

Whether you crave hidden gems or iconic highlights, I’m here to support your vision — not twist it to mine. I love connecting clients with boutique hotels, locally owned companies, and authentic makers who bring destinations to life.

Supporting small and local adds depth to your experience and empowers communities worldwide, making your trip leave an even greater impact.

So…my why…is actually yours. Ready for me to make your why come to life? Check out my link or DM me and let’s get started.

You might be surprised how many Caribbean islands are just one flight away!

If you’re flying from Atlanta, Charlotte or New York City, you have nonstop access to more than just the usual Caribbean favorites—including Antigua, Grenada, Curaçao, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Barbados, Grand Cayman and more.

If you’re like many of my clients, sometimes a direct flight makes the decision easier!

What’s the best island for you? That depends on what you want from the trip.

Great food, beautiful beaches, a little adventure, total relaxation, or a mix of everything? There’s no real right or wrong answer.

Save this for the next time you’re craving the Caribbean, and send it to the person you’d take with you.

Tell me which airport is your airport!
*Nonstop routes vary by airport, airline and season.

Everyone knows the Caribbean is beautiful. The harder question is: which island is right for you?

As I’ve learned, they are definitely not all the same.

Some are made for travelers who want to do absolutely nothing but find a beautiful beach and a great restaurant. Others are better for exploring, hiking, getting out on the water or experiencing more of the local culture.

Some give you a little bit of everything.

That’s why when someone tells me they want a Caribbean vacation, one of my first questions is always: What do you actually want this trip to feel like?

Relaxing? Adventurous? Romantic? Easy with the whole family? A little more off the beaten path?

There are so many Caribbean islands beyond the ones we hear about over and over again — and sometimes the one you haven’t considered yet is the one that fits you best.

Save this post for the next time you’re craving the Caribbean but aren’t sure where to go.

Hi, 👋 I’m Juli! I’m a travel advisor who loves matching my clients with the destination, hotel and experiences that fit the way they want to travel.

When you’re ready to start planning your next island getaway, reach out. I’d love to help you find your island.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀! ⁣
⁣
With over 220 inhabited islands in Greece, from the Aegean Sea to the Ionian Sea, there truly is an island for everyone and everything you like to do. ⁣
⁣
And the best part is, on most of them, you can enjoy a variety of activities or moments of relaxation, so planning comes down to logistics and how much time you have. ⁣
⁣
There are too many combinations to share but here are a few I would recommend: ⁣
⁣
𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲:⁣
Enjoy time on the mainland visiting the historical sights of Athens and Olympia and then ferry over to Zakthynos for a high-adventure finale. ⁣
⁣
𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 & 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲: ⁣
Combine Santorini and Crete for a perfect blend of romantic nights, local foods and remarkable wines. ⁣
⁣
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝗻: ⁣
Combining Naxos and Paros, spending time on both islands exposes you to beautiful villages, approachable hikes, local cooking experiences and time on the water. ⁣
⁣
𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀:⁣
Start in Mykonos for your social fill of lively restaurants and memorable nights with friends and move over to Santorini for a few days of relaxation before heading home. ⁣
⁣
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗲, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿: ⁣
• Ferries don’t run year round, it’s best to visit from April to early October. ⁣
• Logistics matter, getting from island to island takes planning ahead. ⁣
• Don’t rush through islands, they all offer so much to do and it takes time to explore. ⁣
• Pick one sea and visit islands within it⁣.
⁣
I’m curious, which combination of islands is calling your name? Tell me in the poll. ⬇️⁣
⁣
🇬🇷 Save this for your next trip to Greece⁣

There are stages of life that no one warns you about and I was just hit with one of them and I am still recovering.

We go through the first day of Kindergarten, high school graduation and moving to college. All are pivotal and emotional. I shed tears at each one.

The one that caught me by surprise was the day my daughter moved to Savannah for her first job.

After graduating in May, my daughter moved home to continue her job search. While doing so, she worked with me and helped support my business over the summer.

Our days were filled with conversations, collaboration, shared lunches and dinners together. It was a true gift of time–so much one on one time that neither of us expected to get, but we were so grateful for the bonus time together.

This summer was unrushed, filled with local adventures, walks after dinner and lots of golf cart rides. Not to mention lots of talks as she navigated this phase of life, going from college grad to full time employee and the rollercoaster ride that it was.

She worked so hard to find her dream job, and all her efforts and patience paid off! She’s about to begin her career, but it did involve relocating to Savannah.

Yes, it’s only 4 hours away, but this move hit differently. We realized it’s because it is more permanent. College, even though out of state, was temporary.

This move doesn’t have an end date.

Let’s be honest, I knew this day was coming. As much as I LOVED having her at home, I knew it wasn’t forever. Her wings are too wide; she is ready for bigger things.

Nevertheless, it was so hard to say goodbye. I couldn’t be more proud, I am truly so excited for her and I know she will do great things but to have to let go again was much harder than I expected.

Watching her drive away, tears could not be held back. A huge part of my heart left with her.

Our job as parents is to raise our kids to navigate the world on their own and create their own path. But letting go never gets easier, and that was the hard lesson I had to relearn this week.

Ella, go do great things. I’ll always be here to cheer you on and love you! by @celebrateandexplore

The travel advisor’s secret!!

Our habit of traveling in this month started out of necessity.

Our daughter was born on our first anniversary, so for 18 years, October travel just wasn’t an option.

So we waited until January, and it worked beautifully.

January really is the best month to travel. Fewer crowds, better prices.

On the blog, I go into all the reasons why plus I share some of the best destinations ideal for January travel.

Head to the 🔗 in bio and let me know if you’ve tried traveling in January below.

Charleston is one of those places where it’s easy to fill five days without ever leaving downtown. But I wouldn’t plan your trip that way!

There’s so much more to experience just beyond the peninsula and some pretty incredible places to slow down and enjoy the Lowcountry for a few days.

I put together the 5-day Charleston itinerary I’d recommend, including where to stay, where to eat, neighborhoods to explore and two very different options for the last few days of your trip.

The full itinerary is on the blog! Head to the link in my bio to read it.

What happens when your usual beach trip doesn’t feel big enough for turning 50?

A group of friends wanted to celebrate their 50th birthdays together. They love their annual week at the beach, but this milestone felt like it called for something different.

They love being outdoors, staying active and, of course, good wine, so Napa felt like the perfect match. 🍷

As a bonus, it was a first visit for almost everyone, making it an adventure everyone could experience together.

Mornings started slowly with breakfast at the villa, walks along the golf course and, for some, a good workout before the day began.

Then it was time to explore.

They hiked, shopped, took an e-bike wine tour and spent a full day visiting wineries with a private guide and local sommelier who selected wineries specifically around their wine preferences.

Dinners ranged from fun nights out together in neighboring towns to one very low-key night at the villa with comfort food, local wine and PJs because after three nonstop days sometimes dinner in PJs is just what you need!

Because San Francisco was so close, a handful of them added two nights there at the end. Might as well, right?

I love planning milestone trips like this because the destination should fit the people you’re celebrating with. For this group, it was wine, a little outdoor adventure and lots of time together, just somewhere different than their normal beach trip.

Turning 40, 50, 60 or celebrating another big milestone? Your traditions can be wonderful and you can still decide that a milestone year calls for something different.

Sometimes it’s fun to break tradition and celebrate your biggest milestones somewhere new!

A group of friends decided to skip their annual beach trip and plan a 50th birthday celebration in Napa.

Their days were spent exploring the area, going for bike rides, enjoying each other’s company, and of course, drinking lots of wine!

It was the perfect way to celebrate such an exciting year and be able to spend quality time together exploring somewhere new.

Have a big milestone coming up and looking for somewhere special to spend it? I’m here to help you think of ideas! taken in Napa Valley, California by @celebrateandexplore
