$420. That’s what this community raised for the animals still finding their way home after this summer’s fires. 🐐🐓🐎

Forever Home Sanctuary has spent the last few months housing horses and goats displaced by the Okanagan wildfires, and this week, we got to send them your $420 raised at our outdoor Sunset Yoga at @theperchwinery ♥️

Next week, we get to meet the animals in person.

We’ll be sharing the visit soon, the animals, the team doing the work, all of it. Your generosity deserves to see where it landed.

Challenge Complete ✅ 60 classes in 60 days @thehotroomatstudiobe between @jameemoffat and myself! We showed up, sweat it out and encouraged each other along the way! Life is busy but these 1 hour classes are 4% of our day where we can put ourselves first. Proud of us 💕 by @celena.winters

Good day, everyone!

While wildfires are now held and many have returned home from evacuation, we continue thinking of those who lost their homes and those who gave so much to help those in need.

Our last yoga class of 2026 at The Perch will be a fundraiser to support @foreverhomesanctuary, a farm animal rescue organization providing safe haven to animals in Vernon and surrounding

🍷🧘🏽‍♀️♥️ Sunset Stretch & Sip: Wildfire Fundraiser for @foreverhomesanctuary

With everything this community has carried this summer, we wanted to do something simple. Show up, breathe together, and give back.

Friday, Sept 18th, we’re hosting a by-donation outdoor yoga class at Perch Winery with the gentle, kind-hearted, and incredible Celena Winters.

A glass of wine is included with your spot, and every dollar raised goes straight to Forever Home Sanctuary, the Vernon-based charity that’s been sheltering over 40 animals affected by the wildfires this season.

They’ve coordinated rescues. Provided shelter. Cared for animals with nowhere else to go, right down to five little chickens who found a temporary home there while their people figure out what’s next.

$20 minimum donation to register, more donations welcome at the door.

Space for 25, so mark your mat early. Here are the details:

Pasta Sauce 2026 ❤️ The smoke cleared and we got to work, but the foundation of the tradition was laid before I had my own children. I’m sure Paddy always took his cues from Mother Nature and I am learning to do the same. This year the Romas were ready quite early. I’m sure it’s written in his handwriting somewhere that the first step is to start to gather the ingredients and supplies. So that’s what I did and this year it felt especially good to support the local farmers. We don’t go from a recipe, each batch is unique and every year is inevitably different but the intention remains the same, to bring family together to create something that we can enjoy and nourish ourselves throughout the year. This is the second time we have done this without the guidance from Paddy. Each year i become more confident in the process and I know that would make him smile. The lessons along the way are far bigger than canning a jar of pasta sauce 🍝. Slow down a bit ( you have no choice here cuz canning is a slow process) bring your people to the table, pour and glass of wine…maybe a tequila;) be present and grateful ❤️ by @celena.winters

Thankful for this Halotherapy booth @cedarandsoakvernon.
The combination of red light, dry salt and oxygen has many benefits. Like anything consistently is key! I’ve yet to take an allergy pill this year which for me is HUGE! It’s also giving me a reprieve from this smoke and an excuse to sit down and just breathe ❤️ by @celena.winters

Spending time on these outdoor platforms over the past few years has truly been a highlight to my summer season. It’s something that words can’t describe, it’s more something that must be experienced. The opportunity to teach an outdoor class at @predatorridge for my yoga teacher/ mentors business @graceandflow feels like a dream come true!
