In case y’all didn’t know, it’s mental health awareness month! I am an ESA. (Emotional Support Animal) My job as an ESA means supporting my mama when things get tough. I give her a reason to get out of bed, go for walks, and provide cuddles with all those things are too hard for her. The difference between an ESA and a Service dog is that I don’t have to be trained to do a specific task. I am just a good girl that is always there when mama needs a hug. ESA are “prescribed” by licensed professionals only. We are like an antidepressant but fluffy and with lots of energy. I may not have the same privileges as a service dog but my job is still just as important. Mama and I need each other and I wouldn’t have it any other way. .

Two years ago today, mama took me home. Even though her nagging gets annoying, this has been the best two years EVER. Love ya @leacakes88 .

Starting rainy season off right with my favorite food, @instinctpetfood ! Yummy in my tummy before my walk in the rain with my new mittens and jacket from @petsmart. My mom gets a little worried about my soggy muddy paws 🐾 .

My human started a GoFundMe to pay for therapy while she’s in school. Please share or donate. Every dollar helps so I can get a break from the cuddles. Being an ESA is hard work sometimes. The things we do for our peoples.
