Sacred places are rare these days. To find a quiet moment of refuge with the God of the universe should always be cherished.

For the past 8 seasons it has always been important to me to never capture any pictures or videos of pregame chapels. My focus has always been to preach Jesus to encourage the players and the coaches.

Honored to share a glimpse of what God is doing this season with the @chiefs. 🙏🏾 This week’s Franchise video takes you behind the scenes of Chapel on Christmas Day with this team.

Through the pressure, the wins, and the losses, @stephaniercasey and I get to walk alongside these men and their families—spiritually, professionally, and personally. These guys are building each other up, loving one another, and leaning on something greater than themselves. It’s why I do what I do.

Grateful to serve this team, grateful to be part of this story, and grateful to have the chance to share it with all of you. Check out the video to see how God is moving through this team. 🙌🏾 Thank you, Jesus!

🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 Year 8 with the Kansas City Chiefs. Year 22 of sharing Jesus with Athletes and Coaches. A really special night with Champ Fit KC 🥊

This event was such a powerful reminder that what Champ Fit KC is building goes far beyond boxing.

It is about discipline, confidence, mentorship, community, and creating a place where young people are seen, supported, and challenged to grow.

This is what our boxers’ hard work, their parents’ dedication, and the coaches’ consistency look like on display.

Monday night was something special. We are so proud of these kids - their grit, their growth, and everything they brought to that ring. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and support ChampFitKC.

She walked!! 🎓
I can’t really describe how it feels to watch her complete a whole childhood. She’s pushed hard to earn this degree (the first of 2!), but she’s also pushed hard to sharpen her beliefs, her desires, and her vision. She’s brings intensity to everything, especially the way she loves. I am constantly in awe. She’s my baby bird that cracked open her shell and is feeling the breeze under her wings. I’m so proud of you, bb birdie. ✨ by @celluscasey

In case you don’t know yet, Marcellus is the owner of Champ Fit KC, a boxing and fitness gym built around hard work, positivity, and giving back.

Every paid workout at Champ Fit KC helps fund free youth boxing programs, giving Kansas City kids the chance to build confidence, discipline, and resilience.

Also, make sure you don’t miss the upcoming Boxing Showcase happening next week, May 18, a free ticketed event highlighting some of the boxers and the heart behind what Champ Fit KC is all about.
