I have had a few enquiries about this drawing at The Men’s Pond. The original charcoal drawing has sold but I’ve decided to do a run of prints.

Image size is 30 x 20.5 cm, Giclee print on German etching paper, signed and dated, £75 plus free postage.

I am beyond excited about my new studio space. An incredible 70sqm beautiful space in Salisbury Square, Old Hatfield. Thank you Hatfield House for allowing me to use this gorgeous space to create new, extra large paintings!!

Today I spent my first day painting in here and it felt great! I can’t wait to see what I paint in here.

Further exploring this shape as a basis for composition. Once again working with a random selection of colours which turn out to be beautifully harmonious. The only difficulty with this print was deciding which way up it went - it seemed to work in all 4 orientations! I think this is the right way! The medieval parish of St Mary’s Axe.

Imagine a medieval trader waking to this scene.

The Cheese grater reflected in the Scalpel next door to the Loydds building with the Shard in the distance.

Painted one Sunday afternoon early in October.
A few hours chasing light and reflections in the mass of steel and glass. This view will need some straightening and maybe another sitting to cull the impressionistic feels.

When the clocks change later in the month I plan to revisit these cityscapes and paint night scenes.
