I Wish I Wish, With All My Heart ˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗
2025

In memory of the dark-eyed Junco pair I was blessed to watch unfold into a family twice in the quiet corners of my studio space. I wish I wish with all my heart to experience my own blessings one day.

A shooting star. The shot in the dark. Hatchlings are carried forward in the safety of a dream and a hope. Mom and Dad tend to a lingering sense of direction. A fleeting moment full of what was and the promise of what could be.

Come check out this piece at W.J.D gallery!! Opening today at 5pm. :D

$*thinking about lunch break* Oh hello ☻ Will you be needing a bag today? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Perfect, that’ll be $$$. All set, have a great day! 💙💜 What I love about this show is how the 99 cents store blurs the line between big name artists and local talent. The 99 allowed consumption through curiosity and necessity rather than by status. Flattening prestige makes the community feel valued. Update: I didn’t know @solidarityprojects was occupying the 99 before this show. Please donate to them!! Up till March 1st! From 12-6pm 6121 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA by @ceramicchick$

Ahí, en la casa | At the House

Ahí, en la casa is a group exhibition where the family backyard party is not just as a celebration but as a form of fine art. The phrase ahi, en la casa translates as “at the house,” and is a common response to the question “Where is the party?” when inviting a loved one to a celebration.

The family backyard party could be anything from an asada, or BBQ, to an extravagant wedding, quinceñera or baptism. From ceremony to desmadre the family backyard party is an invitation to explore the home, an intimate space, as the heart of where community develops. Artists in this exhibition reframes family, community, food, sound, and dance to share with the larger Long Beach community. by @ceramicchick

Feeling so so lucky to have shared so many beautiful moments with a range of different critters this past year. I must also mention spiders 🕷️✨, but they’re too elusive for a camera. + clay ofc :¨ ·.· ¨:
