Photo project I had the pleasure of starting this semester. Polaroids highlighting some of my favorite moments from throughout the semester. This semester marked my first year here at CSULB and it has been nothing short of amazing. What makes it amazing is the people I have the pleasure of being surrounded by (amazing artist and people). Hopefully this is something I continue to do 🫣. All taken on my grandpa’s 40yr old Polaroid camera :)

This group exhibition centers on the theme of animals as sentient beings, not merely as pets. The word "Anima" refers to the soul, spirit, or life force that animates living creatures. The exhibition examines how animals' lives-often determined by forces beyond their control-are profoundly shaped by human relationships and interventions in their environments. By focusing on these dynamics, the show highlights the complex interplay between humans and the natural world, revealing both the impact of human activity and the unique personalities of animals, whether wild or domesticated.

If you didn’t catch it on opening day, Anima-Behavior is open again today from 2-7pm.

This show concludes programming offered by the ceramics cohort for Spring 2026! We’ll see you in the Fall! :)
