Welcome back, 1mm Black Palm veneer!

These exceptional flitches (8' & 10') hail from Ecuador and are known as Royal Black Palm — prized for the striking contrast between jet-black fibers and warm golden striping. A favorite for architectural interiors and custom furniture, these flitches bring instant luxury to any project. #blackpalm #luxuryhome #architecturalinteriors #CertainlyWood #veneerspecialists taken in Certainly Wood Inc. by @certainlywood.inc

Normally our endgrain white oak is in full round format. New to our inventory are sound half rounds sheets of 1/24" - 1mm unbacked oak endgrain. They are in great condition and would add an alternative look for drawer fronts or inset panels. Check out parcel 26207 under the endgrain tab on our website. #newarrivals #endgrainveneer #CertainlyWood #whiteoak #naturalwoodveneer taken in Certainly Wood Inc. by @certainlywood.inc

Palm wood veneer comes from a palm tree, which is botanically a monocot (more closely related to grasses than to hardwood trees). Unlike true hardwoods and softwoods, palms do not produce annual growth rings, giving them a distinctive fiber structure and appearance.
We offer several unique palm veneer options, including 3 mm sawn Black Palm, 1.4 mm sliced Red Palm, and 1 mm engineered Black Palm. Our engineered Black Palm is made by gluing together squared 12 mm palm sections into a large block, which is then sawn into veneer sheets.
Popular during the Art Deco era, Black Palm was prized for its striking contrast of dark and light fibers and its dramatic, one-of-a-kind grain pattern. It's still a favorite today for high-end architectural and furniture applications.

American Black Walnut | Agrate Conturbia, Piedmont | Natural Color | Feather Curl

Harvested from a private park in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, flitch 26212 is something rarely seen: American black walnut (Juglans nigra) grown on European soil.

Most walnut veneer is steamed during processing — a practice that homogenizes color but strips the wood of its natural character. This log was never steamed. The result is walnut in its truest form: a rich, complex, toned brown flitch with genuine depth like Claro that no steamed log can replicate. Running through the face is a flowing feather curl figure that shifts with the light — the kind of detail that defines a room. #naturalwoodveneer #certainlywood

End grain white oak — and this batch is something special.
These half rounds arrive in sequence, meaning the natural figure flows continuously from piece to piece. At 1/28" (0.9mm), they're unbacked and ready to work. Use them on drawer fronts for that unmistakable end grain pattern, or to cap beam ends with a detail that stops people mid-room.
White oak end grain doesn't just look different — it reads different. There's a depth to it that flat-cut can't replicate.

Waterfall Bubinga (Kewazinga) renowned for its dramatic cascading grain has the appearance of flowing water across the surface. Log 26074 is the last remaining section with just over 9,000.sqft from a log that originally had 50,000' sqft to start. If you have the chance to enjoy a performance at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC, you will see the main auditorium walls veneered with a similar looking log. #certainlywood #architecturalinteriors #veneerspecialists taken in Certainly Wood Inc. by @certainlywood.inc
