It’s done! Big moss stitch scarf made using the Baa Ram Ewe Donegal Twist DK yarn! I did two rows of moss stitch for each color, working the first row into the previous color row to make the fun little line of Vs. Love how it turned out!! 🥰 by @cesca_is_making

THE FLAG IS UP!! 🌈🎉💖✨
Thanks to 30+ participants, we were able to complete our crochet Pride flag!

Come see this community art project in person at Gethsemane Garden Center this week! We’re in the Herbs & Veggies yard (enter on Clark near the Edgewater Ave intersection). I’ll be there Monday and Sunday, come say hi!

I’m incredibly proud of everyone, especially our beginners and our volunteer teachers! Thanks for making this possible 💖

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to our CROCHET A GIANT PRIDE FLAG event! We made wonderful progress on the project and got many people crocheting for the first time 💖

It’s been a rough month so it’s time for some QUEER JOY!!!! We’re organizing a big community art project! Join us Tuesday the 24th at Kathy Osterman (Hollywood) beach to crochet a giant pride flag! RSVP on the eventbrite page for more info and specific location.

Beginners are welcome! We will have extra materials to borrow and volunteer teachers to help you get started. Come make new friends while also making art!

The finished piece will be displayed in the Andersonville neighborhood during the final week of pride month 💖
