♠️ WORKING FIRE ♠️

At 0957 hours, the box was struck for the house on fire in the 4500 Block of Knollcrest Dr. in 13’s Local.

Ladder 13 arrived with fire through the roof on the Charlie side. Engine 21 stretched a second line and assisted in fire suppression in the attic and Charlie side of the dwelling.

♠️ FIRST DUE FIRE ♠️

Last night, at 2215 hours, Engine 21 was assigned as the first due engine for the reported house on fire in the 7000 block of David Ave.

Engine 21 arrived first due with heavy fire. Members made the stretch and forced entry into the Bravo side entrance where they encountered a large volume of fire.

Numerous additional companies performed remaining tasks and the fire was controlled in approximately 30 minutes.

Units operating: Engine 21, 13, 25, & 17, Ladder 13, Tower 18, Rescue 10, Battalion 6 & 3

♠️ WORKING FIRE ♠️

Last night, at 2321 hours, Engine Co. 21 was dispatched to the 1600 block of Gambia Street for the reported house on fire.

Engine 13 arrived first due with heavy smoke showing and declared the working fire. Engine 21, second arriving, laid in and established a water supply. Members then pulled a second line to assist Engine 13.

After overhaul operations, Engine 21 returned to service.

Units Operating: Engine 21, 13, 5, 10, Ladder 13, Rescue 10, Battalion 3 & 8

On 4/17, at 1929 hours, Engine 21 was assigned to a bulding fire in 13’s local where they conducted a primary search before being released.

♠️ MVA PIN-IN ♠️

On 4/7, Engine 21 was assigned to an MVA on N I-85 at Little Rock Road. Engine 21, behind West Meck, took over command and upgraded the box to an extrication assignment.

Patient care was given to the trapped patient while companies worked to stabilize the semi pinning the patient while simultaneously working to cut the patient free.

The priority patient was transported to an area hospital.

Units operating: Engine 21, Ladder 13, Rescue 10, Battalion 8, Safety 1, West Meck

Yesterday, at 1251 hours, Engine 21 was assigned to the 700 block of Jordans Pond Ln. for the reported house on fire.

Engine 21 arrived first due in the 25 local with smoke showing from the roof. The engine company stretched to the attic where they found active fire. A fire involving solar panels on the roof had extended into the attic.

A great stop by all companies.

At 0602 hours, Engine 21 responded to the 6200 block of Brookshire Blvd. for a reported building fire.

Battalion 6 arrived with heavy fire from a vacant motel.

Units operating: Engine 21, 25, 33, & 13, Ladder 33 & 13, Rescue 10, Battalion 6 & 3

*FIRST DUE FIRE*

On 3/14, at 0434 hours, Engine 21 was dispatched to the 900 block of Valley Ridge Rd. for the reported house on fire.

Engine 21 arrived first due with heavy fire showing. Members from 21 made the stretch and knocked down the bulk of the fire, making their way from the exterior to the attic to control fire spread. Simultaneously, other companies performed additional tasks.

The fire was controlled in approximately 30 minutes. One civilian was transported.
