Exercising was at the top of my list Q4. I’ve been natural for 16 years, but I’ve only recently learned to truly love and understand my hair.

Looks like somebody is ready for another milestone! 🥹 He’s growing so fast, and I’m truly here for every moment of it.

I’m holding him close while still giving him the freedom to explore, never rushing the process, just allowing him to grow at his own pace. I believe giving him space to self-regulate now will help build a strong foundation for his future.

My parents did the same for me. They always allowed me to be myself and move at my own pace…except when it came to education! 😂

Mind you he’s doing all of this needing a nap. He is crafty in making sure he doesn’t have to go to sleep. by @ch_themindset

God only made one you stop hiding her.

The more I released what I thought I needed, the more I discovered the beauty God already gave me.

I stopped guessing and started learning my hair: what makes it curl, what keeps it straight and what helps it flourish. Now I have the confidence and the tools to wear my crown however I choose.

Healthy. Versatile. Unapologetically mine.

They ain’t you and they were never meant to be. 🤎

Born in 1990 and still becoming. ✨

After becoming a mom, I had to find my way to love the new version of me. My edges were thinning, I hadn’t had a trim in six months, and I needed care too. So I started keeping weekly appointments with myself and those moments changed me.

Now I’m stronger, healthier, and allowing God to shine through me. I trusted the natural ingredients He created, had faith in my products, and stayed consistent. Today, the fruit of that faith is showing. 🌿🙏🏽

I used to switch wigs, now I can’t decide which version of my natural hair to wear. 😩😂

Wearing my hair was at first about health, now it’s about freedom of being myself. Allowing myself to grow and understand who I am. Learning to take care of me with what God created.

Growing my hair helped me love myself more. I wasn’t hiding behind weaves and braids. My scalp wasn’t tight and uncomfortable. I’m no longer harming myself to look “good”. Getting my head right helped start the change to getting my life right.

I used my herbal hair tea to restore moisture and help shape my hair. Also the cool tea helps itchy nerves in the scalp. I have eczema and sometimes my scalp flares up from stress.
I used growth oil along my hair line for focused hair growth.
