Happy Mother’s Day to my sisters Bacardi Mayfield-Harris and Stacy Mayfield. Thank you for allowing me to experience motherhood by allowing me to “mother” my nieces. I often get asked if I have children or why I never did and I always answer “yes, I have children, all girls and I just allowed my sisters to get them bare them. Teamwork makes the dream work!” My mom gave me the greatest example of how to “mother” and I’m glad I get to do it!

My God is the sweetest God!
After a night of tossing and turning about some of my personal goals... I drifted off to sleep feeling quite discouraged! I woke up and WORSHIPPED, I could clearly hear the HOLY GHOST instructing me to go put on my workout gear and STAY FOCUSED! Don’t get distracted, get tunnel vision, get in the zone! So I talked to myself to my mat to do my foam roller routine which hurts tremendously due to some damage I have done over years of neglect. You know how something hurt so bad! I began to cry. In that moment I wanted to give up! All the time listening to my music through my head phones. Those who know me knows I like that other music.... Trap/ Bouncing/....you know! Then out of nowhere Curtis Mayfield song pops up and start playing “KEEP ON PUSHING”. This song is nowhere in my genre selection! It is one of my dad’s favorite! One we played at his funeral. I started balling😂😂! I could hear my dad speak his famous words “You can do it”!💪🏾💪🏾
My dad has been gone and I have not had a dream or sign of him and I have asked God often to let me know that his soul is well! It was just like my dad. Never said a whole lot but always spoke up when it was necessary! This daddy’s girl got the double portion this morning! From the FATHER and from my father! God is just that sweet! HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US OR FORSAKE US! HE knows what we need and when we need it and the HOLY GHOST is always ready ! I want to encourage you this morning to keep on pushing! Get up and go be with your daddy and receive an encouraging word to help you push through! I will be at The New Olivet Worship Center at Woodland Hills receiving further instructions. Join me! 11:00 am 10000 Woodland Hills.

Every Woman deserves to feel beautiful. Every Woman deserves to feel comfortable in her own skin. I didn't always feel this way. Growing up, I didn't feel like the "pretty girl". Today, I feel the most confident and beautiful than I've ever felt! Am I perfect? No. Am I where I want to be yet? No, but I've lost 70 pounds and counting! It's not always about the destination. Its about the journey.
