Simple italian solutions to common theatre problems:
1: If the radiator by the dressing rooms is leaking, slice one of the empty water cooler bottles lengthwise, and place below.
2 & 3: A favorite of mine! If the stage has a 6.5% rake, just counter rake the backstage chairs with a 1x3. Just remember to place them on the correct side of the stage. 🤪
4 & 5: If the proscenium is looking a bit sad, just decorate with some foliage (which I appreciated, but promptly relocated to the dressing rooms during the load in).
6 & 7: If you are the cleaner at the theatre and there is no dryer, no problem, just dry your clothes on the street, scants and all.
8 & 9: If you are running on fumes due to the intense schedule, carry some pocket coffee with you (and of course, in such an Italian way, there is even a 'summer edition' that comes with a little straw). Carry enough to share.

A wonderful Blooming Scotland team day out 🌿

We caught up on all things happening in gardens and our lives before visiting a stunning open garden, owned by Elisabeth Quinn @the_joyful_garden_ , as part of the Scotland’s Garden Scheme.

Elisabeth’s cottage-style garden was bursting with roses, nepetas, verbena and dahlias – with so many cosy spots to sit and admire the views from every angle. 💐 Huge congratulations to Elisabeth for such a successful open garden! 👏✨

It was the perfect way to celebrate a thriving summer season while also planning ahead – because gardening doesn’t stop when summer ends, autumn is just as exciting! 🍂🌱

It's Eda's birthday!!!!! which also means, is the best day of the year.
Sis and I were blessed with incredible parents, who were eternally too busy trying to set the world to rights (or Puerto Rico at the very least), in their respective careers, to always keep an eye of us There was an army of people to help.
Victoria and I were not bored because we had Eda!
The way the story goes, Eda was mami's student, who came to crash at the house at some point -as many did back then- and never left.
Eda was the funnest person in my childhood. There was always an adventure in the books, some sport to try, the beach to go to, some TV show taping to attend. Eda was part of the production team at Super Sabado and A Millon back then, so it was exciting to visit her when she was in San Juan, as we were always in the TV studio. I can categorically confirm that Eda is the reason I ended up working in production later in life.
I am speaking in the past, but she is so very present.
She helped raise Diana the same way she did with us, and I can also confirm, she is Iker's favorite person in the whole world... I am a bit jealous she now loves Iker more than all of us, not gonna lie.
However, I still hold the title of the only person she has left the island for 😘. She flew to see my graduation show in Philly a gazillion years ago.
Photo above is of a few months ago, when, without really asking her, she confirmed she would take me to a local race in PR, stayed the whole time and celebrated my finish (I am NOT fast). 😄
If you see her today, give her two hugs, one for me, as I am not there to shower her with love.
And for you, reader... I only wish you are also blessed to have an Eda in your life.
