Enter Art Fair 2026.
I can proudly say that at Chabot Fine Art, we always strive to present work with extraordinary visual impact.

Art that makes its presence felt—in the best possible way. It elevates the everyday into something exceptional, simply through the experience of looking at it.

At Enter Art Fair, our presentation of two young Dutch female artists will certainly not disappoint in that respect. It is a privilege to present their works.

I would love to show you how art can make an interior feel both personal and elevated.

Art gives a space identity and makes your home truly unique. It brings energy, emotion and a sense of connection—especially when you choose pieces that reflect your own taste.

For decades, I have had the privilege of guiding people in creating complete interiors. And for the past ten years, through Chabot Fine Art, I have shared the art I believe is timeless, meaningful, and essential to the way we experience our homes. by @chabotfineart

We are delighted to announce that Chabot Fine Art is participating in CAN Ibiza, presenting the work of four artists from our gallery program.

Our presentation reflects a dialogue between contemporary artistic practices and the distinctive spirit of Ibiza—a place where light, landscape, and cultural vitality have long inspired artistic expression. The works we have selected resonate with the island’s vibrant atmosphere, combining materiality, color, and gesture in ways that feel both immediate and enduring.

Rather than simply responding to their surroundings, these artists create works that generate their own energy—inviting contemplation while engaging with the dynamic rhythm of the island. We look forward to sharing this presentation at CAN Ibiza and to being part of the inspiring conversations that define this year’s fair. @maryse.ceha @chenruobingstudio @ewerdt #thomaspihl @canartfair @okuibiza #contemararyart #ibiza @massmoderndesign by @chabotfineart

We are very excited to present a selection of very early works from the career of Chen Ruo Bing, now on view and available at the gallery.

These paintings reveal a crucial formative moment in the artist’s development, already reflecting his investigation into colour as spatial experience rather than representation. Positioned between Eastern philosophical thought and Western geometric abstraction, the works anticipate the clarity, balance, and contemplative presence that define his later practice.

They offer a rare opportunity to encounter the conceptual origins of Chen Ruo Bing’s distinctive visual language. by @chabotfineart

Marit Harte at Young Chabot Fine Art

The young artist Marit Harte is exhibiting her work at Young Chabot Fine Art. Over the past three years, international interest in her work has grown steadily. She is now also represented by Dernier Cri in New York.

Marit Harte’s work appears in three forms: monochrome paintings, 3D objects, and mirrors. In her paintings, the use of paint is immediately striking. Applied very thickly, the paint seems to flow across the terrain of the canvas. It conforms to the hills and valleys beneath the surface and extends beyond the boundaries of the frame. In this respect, her work recalls that of the Belgian painter Bram Bogart. In his work, the painter’s gesture materializes in solidified, thick brushstrokes. In Harte’s case, the paint forms an expressive layer that conceals what is happening beneath the surface of the painting.

Marit herself describes this in vivid terms. For her, processes in nature—where layers of soil, damaged by years of pollution, erode and destroy meadows—form the inspiration to depict these phenomena in abstract form in her paintings.

The same signature of thick paint, shaped by what lies beneath the surface and simultaneously concealing it, is recognizable in her 3D objects. Vase-like forms bulge outward, cling, overflow, and solidify into compelling, mysterious sculptures that tell their own story from every angle.

For Marit, elements of nature are important thematic foundations. The paint flows like thick white lava streams across the surface, like water spilling over the edges of the land, or appears in black and brown paintings where fire has left the surface charred. However important her passionate commitment to sustainability may be, Marit succeeds in elevating her work beyond mere illustrations of environmental themes, lifting it to a level that not only invites reflection but also offers an experience of beauty. @marit_harte by @chabotfineart

Chabot Fine Art is pleased to announce the collaboration with Ronald A. Westerhuis.
Westerhuis is a sculptor of exceptional stature, both literally in scale and figuratively in meaning. His sculptures combine a profound fascination with material and craftsmanship with a complex visual language of geometry, layering, and reflection. The act of making itself lies at the heart of his artistry: technique and process are not merely means, but carriers of meaning.

Westerhuis’ work exists at the intersection of constructivist traditions and contemporary art, where monumentality, site-specificity, and interaction with the environment play a central role. His sculptures balance between strict geometry and baroque expression, reflection and human scale, and invite the viewer to take part in the play of space, light, and perspective.

Through the use of reflective surfaces and high-polished finishes, he intertwines the environment and the observer with the artwork, ensuring each experience is unique. At the same time, he remains socially engaged, as evidenced by his monumental works in public space, including the national MH17 monument. Westerhuis demonstrates that contemporary sculpture can connect, inspire, and evoke contemplation – a synthesis of positive energy, technique, form, and context. by @chabotfineart
