CAN Art Fair Ibiza - w/ Chabot Fine Art

where art and the sea meet.

Days filled with fresh sea urchins, swims in crystal-clear waters, drifting above dancing seagrass, and watching the sunlight sparkle on the water. Evenings spent surrounded by art inspired by that same light, movement, and reflection.

It was a pleasure.

Overgrowth

150 × 150 × 04 cm

Green may look like the color of healthy water, but that is not always the case. In the Netherlands, intensive farming causes excess nutrients to end up in the water, leading to rapid algae growth. During warm summers, lakes and rivers can turn into bright green and red surfaces. This work is an explosion of color that is both beautiful and unsettling, revealing how fragile the balance of our water systems truly is.

Part of the exhibition running until July 26 at the Koelwaterhal.

Sta stil. En ervaar.
