POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Let the sound on to hear my lovely British documentarian voiceover, which, upon listening back, I feel has been inspired less by Attenborough, and more by The Baking Show 🇬🇧.

Transcript: Here we observe the Sand Beagle in a state of complete tranquility. Its reverie has been interrupted by an unreasonable request to continue walking. 🐾

Notice the subtle resistance. The mother attempts to initiate migration, but the Sand Beagle has entered its dormant phase. This may last anywhere from several seconds to years.

At last he rises, journeying forward. Until he plops again.

🐿️ - DAY SIX - The Great Squirrel Recess — THE CROWS ATE THEM ALL. A woman living nearby drives up to me and shares a story of a fearful encounter with an alleged rabid squirrel, and talks of a divine intervention when the squirrels became a bit too crazy. 🐦‍⬛#squirrel #raven #crow #nature #stories taken in Los Angeles, California by @chadheffelfinger

🐿️ PART THREE of The Great Squirrel Recess
There's a real sense of community in this group, and it got me thinking about my own. As kids, playing freely felt effortless. The older I get, the harder it can feel to find, but it doesn't have to. #community #wildlifevideos #squirrels #recess #losangeles taken in Los Angeles, California by @chadheffelfinger

🐿️ PART TWO of The Great Squirrel Recess!

I wasn't the only one watching. A teacher stopped to take it in and said the squirrels' group play is exactly like a classroom at recess. Totally the vibe. 😂 And it keeps going... 👀

What’s your squirrel story?

🐿️ PART ONE of The Great Squirrel Recess!

Proof that a walk outside pays off. I came for a stroll and found a full-on squirrel playground. Go outside, because you never know what magic is waiting! ✨

Which part are you most excited to see? Part Two is coming soon 👀

Ever booked a trip and still come home depleted 🫩?

NOT THIS ONE! I’m not handing you a hotel and a wifi code. I’m handing you a whole week of being held.

7 nights in a Jungle Loft. 3 plant-based meals a day, made for your body. Cacao ceremony. Sound healing. Breathwork. Ecstatic dance. A private 1:1 massage or energy session that’s yours alone.

Zip-line through the canopy. Kayak through bioluminescent water at night. Hike to the waterfall. This is what soul-deep nourishment actually looks like. 🌿

📍Costa Rica, August 23 to 30. Everything is included except the part where you finally exhale 😮‍💨

⚠️ Doors close June 30. Link in bio to claim your spot.

Explored the Cave of Munitz the other day. It was a fun trek. I did a little bushwhacking on an overgrown section of the trail, and found my way to the rocky cave. I’m so very grateful to be returning to the outdoors, at a gentle pace with my body as it returns to its happy place. En route and back I encountered a plethora of birds including some pheasants which suddenly fluttered away so close to me that my heart skipped a few beats. It was early, everyone was waking up. Including a few bunnies! This darkling beetle I’m holding was one of three visitors I encountered on my walk back from the cave. Immediately upon starting my walk, I encountered a darkling beetle being eaten by ants. I decide to save the beetle. I blow off the ants and then carry the beetle with me toward the cave. It was dying, I could tell. But it was trying to move I also could tell. So I cheered it on, but ultimately left it as an offering to the cave when I arrived. True story. #beetles by @chadheffelfinger

A little Soundbath for you. I was blessed to sing apart a one day choir, guided by @asherbl_nk . 37 of us came together today to learn and perform Sleep by Eric Whitacre. It’s haunting, melancholic, but also hopeful and quite soothing. Grateful to be singing again like this and looking forward to more opportunities. Such beautiful people and beautiful voices. If it resonates, allow yourself five minutes to close your eyes, decompress, and go on a musical journey. And thanks to Roy S for the stock footage ;) #choir #community #ephemeralchoir #tenor by @chadheffelfinger
