Book : "Love me But let me go" by ~ CHAITANYA SAINI When I first sat down to read this book, I thought it would be about lust. But instead, itโ€™s all about sensuality, intimacy, and our relationship with our bodies when it comes to pleasure. Ayaanโ€™s introduction to Seema leads her on a journey through Tantra, Taoism and even the Kama Sutra. This section resonated most with my own spiritual beliefs โ€” that intimacy is often more about presence than performance, that our body is sacred ground, and that lovemaking can be a form of meditation. But all of that pales next to the way she falls for Vanyaโ€ฆ I really felt this for Vanya as well. Her being my first love โ€” an unfailing love. I remember her marrying, giving birth to children, having a life which continued to go on while I struggled with my lessons about life. We were never villains hereโ€ฆ we just drifted. Life moved on even though we had once loved each other very muchโ€ฆ Ayaanโ€™s journey led him all over the world (a place where love has thrived) until Vanya showed him that sometimes, people move on and live life by themselves. While Iโ€™ve heard many things from Vanya and her relationship with Ayaan, none could quite compare with what I found myself feeling through reading this book. Perhaps the greatest lesson Iโ€™ve learned from this blog post is that love teaches us that itโ€™s okay to let go and recognize that sometimes our love belongs to them. We donโ€™t get to decide who loves whom. They may be great people, maybe even great lovers, but ultimately itโ€™s up to them to choose if they want to continue loving that one particular individual. The first time I read this book it was quite clear to me that on one level it's a very sensual philosophical piece but underneath its melancholic. "Love but Let Me Go" follows Ayaan as he navigates a series of ordinary relationships, learning more about himself and how to move on along the way. The author does a great job showing how complicated dating can get without making the drama feel forced. Every chapter feels like a small peek into his life. Each girl Ayaan dates leaves a mark on him, and you can see him growing up through the tough choices he has to make. The book constantly hits on the idea that love isn't always about staying togetherโ€”sometimes it's just about taking what life throws at you and keeping your chin up. What stands out most is how real the love stories feel. Love here is healing and inspiring, but it can also really sting. The characters act like actual human beings with real flaws and insecurities, which makes it easy to root for them and think back on your own past relationships. The writing style is straightforward and easy to get through, but the heavy scenes still carry weight. Itโ€™s a slow burn of a book that doesn't rush through the big moments, giving the story time to settle in. August was a little bit of everything on my bookshelf; murder, mayhem, romance, resilience, ageing, relationships, and a whole lot of complicated emotions. Basically, my TBR said, โ€œWhy pick one mood when you can have all of them?โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“š I read 10 books this month, spanning crime thrillers, romance, literary fiction, personal development, family drama, YA mystery and more. And while every book had something different to offer, these three stood out for me: ๐Ÿ”Ž The Night Mahira Died by @siddharthnirwanโ€” 4.3/5 A crime thriller with a fascinating supernatural twist, where what happens after death becomes part of the mystery. Intriguing, atmospheric and definitely not your usual whodunit. ๐ŸŒธ Your Joyful Years by @profjoyceharper โ€” 4.3/5 A refreshing collection of real-life experiences and perspectives from women 50+, challenging the idea that life somehow gets smaller with age. A hopeful reminder that ageing can be a beginning, not an ending. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Hott Shot by @serenabellbooks โ€” 4.2/5 A charming romcom with a lovely family dynamic, plenty of romance and enough warmth to make for an enjoyable read. The romance did feel a little rushed, but overall, a fun addition to the month's reading pile. And that's just three of the month's reads! August also took me through Apple Pie and Arsenic by @caphippsauthor , Days with My Red-Flag Girlfriend by @kajolaikat , Navigate Cancer @teresa.ferreiro , LOVE ME, BUT LET ME GO... by @chaitanya424, A Big Mystery for Little Meena by Anamika Kundu, The Homecoming by @preeti.shenoy , and Peace Pretty Please by @author_saniyainamdar โ€” proof, yet again, that my Goodreads shelves have absolutely no genre boundaries. ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ“š 10 books.
