Kamiyama Appreciation Post.

I had a wonderful two week residency in Kamiyama! Seeing good friends again, painting in the 下分アトリエ(old Shoe Factory), visiting my favorite places… I will always come back to Kamiyama!

Favorite waterfall Amagoi no Taki (雨乞いの滝) & favorite temple Higanji (悲願時). I’ve been to Amagoi hundreds of times (not even exaggeration) and Higanji a lot. taken in 雨乞いの滝 by @chalicemitchell

It was great to have so many good friends at the Open Studio! Reminiscing about past shows and looking at photos from 15 years ago when I came back to Kamiyama. They can’t get rid of me!
