Part 2 of our Discover Rock Climbing course. Over a full week, the focus was on key safety and technical skills, including lead climbing, quickdraw management, and essential knots—the strongest foundation for safe climbing.

A big thanks to @myriemkarim from our office team, who spent the week sharing her expertise on the rock and documenting the journey with these smashing photographs.

Some serious « Swiss knifing » over here

Latest vertical wanderings by “Jo” and “Je”.

From the wild, vertical faces of the Italian Val Ferret to the ultimate friction slabs of the Envers des Aiguilles.

The group hit les Bossons with @myriemkarim for day 4 of the « discover rock climbing » camp.

Spent the session sorting out pad setups, decoding lines, and getting to grips with proper heel hooks and technical slabs. Wrapped up by learning how to top out with a bit of style and downclimb without looking entirely ridiculous 🤌

While the Alps are looking pretty dry right now, Cerro Castor treated us to a fresh dust of new snow!

The wind was definitely up, making our way down the arêtes a nice little focus session. We took our time working on solid crampon techniques on the descent—just a smooth, steady day out with @octavio_defazio

Walking on a thin line with @maks_sotnik

The fabulous traversée of the Aiguilles d’Entreves. A classic here in Chamonix, located right on the French-Italian border.

Are you up for a somewhat breathtaking pic up top? 👀

From setting up a portaledge and managing wall systems to spending the night suspended above the Chamonix valley, the clinic offered an unforgettable introduction to life on the wall.

@arcteryxacademy started 💎

It’s always a wild week for us — months of preparation with @arcteryx to make sure you have the time of your life out there: crimping on tiny holds, pulling your buddy out of a crevasse, ice axes meeting mother nature head-on.

130 guides. One incredible week.
See you on the mountains — and definitely on the dancefloor ✨
