✨PATIENCE✨
I've been at Yellow Green Strip belt for just about a year 😅 Firstly because I started taekwondo during the pandemic and had to stop. Then I started again early this year but injured myself before the test 😩 then I had an insane stomach bug during the next test. I was so frustrated and felt so defeated but it was all out of my hands. There was literally nothing I could do about these setbacks except embrace patience. It's a lesson I'm still learning as I work on my dreams becoming a reality. Sometimes we do all we can but it's simply not the right time for that next level. Thank you @langleytaekwondo for doing this journey with me and being such awesome instructors 💪🏾
And I literally did not think I could break two boards, I was so intimidated 🤣

That was harder than I thought...
I loved the world. Honestly preferred Crooked Kingdom over Six of Crows. I loved Ketterdam and wanted to stay there. I didn't like all the traveling in Six of Crows. My mind couldn't handle all the new locations.
Six of Crows overall annoyed me 😅. It was like an insanely long intro of all these amazing characters and once the story picked up it just ended.
Crooked Kingdom had much better pacing. I'm obsessed with Nina and Matthias 😍🥰 It was action packed to the max. I loved all the moments I thought, there's no way they're getting out of this.
A few moments felt a little too convenient in how they found a way out. But for the most part it was very clever plot twists and mind blowing outcomes!
I could never read another series that switches perspectives that many times ever again 😞 it was beyond exhausting.
But in the end I finished this series with a HUGE smile on my face. I felt hopeful for justice prevailing in my own broken world.

Side note, that tea cup is empty and clean. I put it there for the photo. I would neeeeeeever put a cup of tea or coffee on a book 😅

Happy Birthday to my big sis Tara 🤗🥰
Can't believe how God orchestrated such an amazing friendship. Every year on her birthday Tara goes to @cincinristorante and is literally treated like royalty 😍🥰The staff there are amazing and the food was mind blowing. I've never been to a restaurant where every meal was perfectly to my liking.

It's time for a retreat 😌
God told me this is the season to develop an army around me. And these power house women at @clawomen are just that.
This weekend got me out of my comfort zone. It made me open my heart wide and admit to lies from the enemy regarding the safety in keeping people at arms length. I love my church and I'm so excited God gave me such an amazing sisterhood to do life with.
