Today we have the remarkable Chanel Vyent peeking from Behind The Curtain! 👋

Hi Chanel, what space do you feel most at ease in?
I feel most at ease when I’m in nature, near water or beneath the sun. It reminds me to flow with the natural rhythms of life and to sit still with myself. My favorite moment of the day is watching a sunset. It fills me with awe, and is a quiet reminder of how vast & beautiful life can be.

When/what makes you feel most creative?
Somehow when I do the most simple things that are repetitive, like doing the dishes is when my creative ideas come through! Also right before falling asleep everything seems to start flowing. But especially listening to music that makes me pause my mind and lets me feel more, that’s where I feel ideas begin to grow on their own.

Lastly, what are three things you always bring on tour?
Hah! I can bring way to much on tour… that’s what I was known for in the company. It got better though, practice makes progress! But 3 things I always bring will be my herbs to make tea, my journal and a book to read… and also my supplements, sage, goodie bag full of foamrollers, massage ball, resistance bands, yoga mat, arnica heating cream and so on. :-)

Summer bloomed & flourished. After came autumn to strip it all away.
Grey skies, cold air made sure we went inwards to remain warm.
Then the songs of the birds harmonized our way to spring.
The cycle repeated itself but no flower or fallen leave remained the same. Nature made sure to taught us how to welcome change with open arms🦋

Special time with special people🫂
Just a small snippet of what life has been looking like for the past 4 months as we’ve been traveling through time & space.

From all wonderful places we’ve had the pleasure to visit one experience stayed the most with me. In the beautiful venue of Taichung we’ve had a prayer ceremonie on stage to clear the space from old energies & make room for new to help guide us during our time in the theatre.
We had to share with the gods:
Who are you?
Why are you here?
And how do you chose to be present?

It inspired me again to stand still & move with intention💭 Taking this vision into the new year.

Thank you summer, welcome fall🍂
This season of life nature reminded me how to flourish from the seeds you’ve once planted.
To trustfully close my eyes and patiently be rooted in love.
How to harmonize with the chaos & stillness from within.
To reflect and embody self compassion.
