"I still vividly remember when we had to leave and go into a B&B," says the homelessness minister @florence.eshalomi, who grew up in temporary accommodation.

Historically, she is one of few ministers with lived experience of the social issues they are tasked with tackling.

Big Issue sat down with the minister during her visit to @changeplease, a social enterprise which helps people facing homelessness by giving them barista training and a living wage job.

After she tried her hand at latte art, Eshalomi spoke to Big Issue about how the government can achieve its mission to offer people a route off the streets by Christmas – and what she plans to do next. by @changeplease
