I am blessed, covered and deeply grateful. Nothing is perfect, but my world is perfectly mine✨ Thank you to those that walk this life journey with me in true love, I couldn’t ask for better people honestly……I never feel anxious or scared about growing older because there are so many people that would have given anything to have the time that we do so I am grateful🙏🏾

Every time I walk back on the yard, the girl who started here and the woman I am now are still having a conversation. And she’s proud….

Howard is where I learned to make it happen and make it look good lol. Not to wait for permission, but to take the opportunity. And when you’re surrounded by excellence, you stop shrinking and start stepping into who you were always meant to be…Howard gave me the building blocks for a strong foundation and so much more at 18 years young.

There is a reason those of us who attend or have attended HBCUs go so hard for ours.….Nothing against those that didn’t but ….it’s just special✨ A place that doesn’t just educate you, but affirms you. A constant reminder that your story, your gifts, and your voice belong in every room you walk into.

And I’m soooooo glad I went to Howard U… The Real, H-U. Forever Bison💙❤️ by @chantellelatise

Ayoooo I really have a grown man forealllll…..pero likeeee what?!!!

21……. such a big milestone and the beginning of a whole new chapter. I pray this year brings you growth, my baby…….new experiences, opportunities, happiness, and the confidence to keep becoming the man you are meant to be. Never forget who you are, where you come from, and that you always have me, your tribe, and God in your corner.

I love you so much, Happy Solar Return Sun✨ @potentialman7 by @chantellelatise
